Anyone have the DP965LT SATA Drivers?

I need these so I can install windows with the SATA controller in AHCI mode. Unfortunately, all I can find is the chipset driver, which has everything. I just need the SATA driver. Thanks.

    Windows XP in AHCI mode?

I'm setting up a dual boot, and in order to get Linux to run on my Intel DP965LT motherboard, the SATA controller must be in AHCI mode. Since Intel doesn't supply a driver floppy, (or just the SATA driver in any format), I had to set the controller to IDE mode to install XP. So I need to...

E-MU 0404 issues - Drivers 'disappear' after reboot

I've looked around on E-MU's KB, but can't find anything about this. I'm running Windows XP SP2, with an E-MU 0404 sound card. Whenever I reboot, I have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, because the sound card 'disappears' and shows up in Device Manager as an 'unknown device.'

E-MU 0404 driver issue on Windows XP

Whenever I reboot, the drivers have somehow 'disappeared,' and I have to reinstall E-MU's drivers every single time. This is extremely annoying, and is also an issue with the onboard sound.

The drive is a standard IDE DVD-RW. It's hooked up to the IDE channel on an Intel DP965LT motherboard, which is an i965 express.

    Looking for a sound card

I'm looking for something with phono out and in. I would also like this to be relatively inexpensive, I don't want to spend more than sixty dollars. This is being hooked up to a 2.0 stereo, so massive surround sound is not an issue.

I am wondering how the video capture on this works. I'd like to use it to capture some video from a VCR. How does this work?

Intel P965 vs. Asus P5B vs. Gigabyte DS3

This is for a Core 2 Duo E6400, won't be overclocked. Is the Intel board any good, I'd like to use it since it's only 110$. Stability is my main concern here.

    ATi + Linux?

I'm building a new Core 2 Duo rig. I plan to have a Windows/Linux dual-boot installed. I am wondering whether ATi's Linux drivers are better now, are they usable for casual Linux gaming? I will do all the heavy gaming on Windows XP, but for light stuff like BZFLAG, which runs great on a 9200, is...

    Budget Core 2 Duo build

I'm looking to build a new Core 2 Duo system. However, I'm on a bit of a budget (about 1000$), and if there is any way I can save some money, please say so. The only thing I need to have is the Core 2 Duo and the nVidia card, since I'm going to be dual-booting linux and ATi's linux drivers suck...

    Looking for LCD monitor.

I'm looking for an LCD monitor for a Conroe system build. Max price is 350 USD, though I'm willing to go to about 380 if it's really worth it. I'd use it mainly for gaming, though some Internet use and mabye photoshop and such. I was looking at the Samsung 204B, though it only has a 6-bit...

X.Org fails to start: Cannot write to /tmp

When I try to run X.Org, on my Debian box (etch), under kernel 2.6.8-2 and X.Org 6.8, I get an error message that says: Error:Unable to write to /tmp: X Session may exit with an error. I only get this message when starting X.Org as a regular user account.

    Issue powering up.

Recently I've noticed some issues powering up my Pentium II server box. Whenever I hit the power button, nothing happens. I've checked the hookup on the motherboard, and it all works. If I leave the ATX power connector unhooked for a while, and then reconnect, it will turn on. The motherboard...
