so one of my raptors died the other day and i've been forced to reformat and reinstall windows + everything else on another hd. after a slew of problems with these new nvidia drivers making my cursor freeze up, i've finally found a set of older (high 70's series)...
As the holidays have drawn to a close I really think I am about ready to take the plunge and go for that system I have been waiting to build since forever ago....
But as I now look @ the greatly changed X2 prices and updated benchmarks on various sites, I still don't know what to get chip...
anyone have any pics of a a8n32-sli build with at least one pci card in there? i'm REALLY worried about where/how i'm gonna fit my x-fi card in there if i go sli right after christmas..
Just out of curiousity......how much power (wattage wise) do different components (like optical drives or hdds) draw on average?
I was just reading the new XFX 7800 GTX review and I think anand said that the card drew like 275 watts or something....

Well with the release of the FX-57, the SLI/all out gaming system I've been "building" for the past 4 months has been prolonged AGAIN. Of course the A8N-SLI Premium and the 7800 GTX haven't helped....along with several other product releases that seemed to take forever, but overall I'm happy...
