**DEAD AGAIN**Loaded Quadcore system was $735.00 A"E"R, NEW INSTORE PRICE now makeing it $750.00 out the door, NO REBATE

I observed my CPU temps using Core Temp for a while now and this is what I found: Upon reboot, the CPU cores would generally hover around 53C. At some point, the CPU fan kicks in (even for extended period of idle) and the CPU core temps drop to 43-47C. When encoding video in which all...

I was wrong, the fan noise was from the CPU fan. Again, does anyone know of any utility to control the CPU fan?

Actually, I don't think it is the CPU fan, i think it is either the case fan or the power supply fan that gets noisy after the system has been on for a while.

Acer Q6600 system at CompUSA for $750

I purchased the system for $735 + $65 tax (assuming $165 rebate) Overall, I think the quality of the system is excellent. However, I found the video card to be EXTREMELY SLOW and UNRELIABLE. I paired the computer with an Acer 22" X221w LCD which I've used for a few weeks already. However...
