    Bufalo Router problems!

    reset the router..there is a button on the bottom, hold it down for 10 seconds...install the software on your wireless pc...then push the button on the top of the router(AOSS), its very easy to setup...I am guessing you have either mistyped the security key or enabled mac filtering?

    Are you just trying to fileshare between the 2 pcs? If so make sure the the Workgroup names are the same...Vista is "WORKGROUP" by default and WinXP is "MSHOME" by default, here is a link that may help: MS Support

    You must be selecting that printer when you print, is it a certain app that you are running when it does it or all the time...I know at my work, when running Citrix, I have to choose my printer each and every time or else it send it elsewhere..

    Netopia ADSL Setup Help!!!

    I would use the Netopia only...no SMC....the Netopia is a very well designed modem, and has great capabilities as a router, configuration is not that hard, go into the advanced tab under LAN settings, and forward the ports you need through the 'ip pinholes' menu.
