I jumped on it. I've been watching these on cable. They are great classics, and this is a steal for the entire series. Plus if you want, you can get Casion Royale for $16 with it.
I apply my compound with a razor blade and get a nice thin layer over the entire chip. It's always worked great. My stock temps were around 24C at stock speeds with this cooler.
I'm using one of their 120mm 38mm width ~90CFM fans. They are very quiet. Per their box the readings are taken in a soundproof room ad a distance of 1m. So I suppose in that setting it would hold true.
Nevertheless, I am pleased with how quiet their fans are so far. I'm thinking of...
I just recently bought the ThermalRight Ultra-120 and love it. It is HUGE. With the right fan this thing cools great. I'm currently using a SilenX 120mm ~80CFM fan. It is their wider body fan. Quiet and blows a lot of air.

It has built in...
I think it is a supply and demand thing. They are out there for a price...and vendors are getting them in...they just sell out right away.
I'm shopping for one for a few more days and then if I can't find one (Striker Extreme) then I'm going to get the ABIT board.
I just got the 900 off of the CompUSA Deal. It was sitting next to a P180, and the P180 was just to big for my tastes. It looked like a nice case though if you like larger cases.
I'm still waiting for all of my other computer parts to show up for my build, so I can't say anything about its...
I've been reading bits and pieces of info, but haven't found any long threads or discussions about this. The Xeon is basically the same as the E6600, but designed for servers. I've read a few places that they run a bit cooler. So for $10 is it worth getting?
I'm getting my rig configured so...
