thing is that now we already have huge threads on most of the matx boards, so can we really expect new input from the review?
maybe on the asrock board..
weird, WhoBeDaPlaya said undervolting was not possible, but its a nice surprise if it really can undervolt since i need a board that can do both: overclock & undervolt.
so if u still got the time pls check out how low the vcore will go.

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/bios/fi90hd/">ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/bios/fi90hd/</a>

yep, intel announced to lower prices for nearly ervery model then.
the fiscal year ends in april for many (OEM) companies so they didnt want to buy much new Ram within the last 2-3 months and thus prices went down...and will rise in May again...my 2cts.
sure the Ultra is better but also...
nope, wait until april 22 and buy a e4300 then, and get calue ram ddr2 800 for about 120-150$. memory prices are at the bottom right now. this is good time to upgrade ram. instead of the p5b-e go for a gigabyte ds3 or ds4 for better passive cooling. scythe andy would be my aftermarket heatsink...
wildunman took another close look at the bios regarding the memory issues and concludes that the board may have problems reading the SPD within the Rom correctly which would explain boot problems.
He modded the unofficial beta bios again so now DRAM Timings are being set to manual by default...
theres a new beta bios M612A_12.B01 send by a abit tech guy, thx@zaza: http://rapidshare.com/files/23203335/M612A_12.B01.html and thx @wildgunman for modding it instantly: http://www.geocities.com/christian.halle/

steve, were ppl sending boards back to u because they (the boards) would die suddenly or due to other problems? i guess that some of the problems ppl are reporting here and there may be not surprising for the first batch of a new board with couple of new features but u already sold a number so...
from another forum..
"Using the onboard video while overclocking is in my opinion rather "dangerous" ,the nb seems very weak in this condition!
Most reports of dead f-i90hd were in this situation...
I anticipated from the beginning by using an old nvidia tnt PCI because of this issue..."...
Gary, have u encountered any problems with the Abits USB ports while booting up? Some users in different threads were reporting on USB and boot problems.
