Were you able to resolve the memory speed issue? I also recently purchased this motherboard along with the g3220 cpu which has a 1333fsb also. Wondering if there will be some memory compatibility issues.
I'm having the same problems as you Johnnie. The shuttle ak35n-ultra 400 first saw it as a 250 gig drive... then after trying to install win xp, the bios saw it as a 32gig drive. I have tried fiddling with the maxtor maxblast software but to no avail so far. Then I tried moving it to an DFI...
Ok. Found the answer out for myself on the AMDMB.COM website. Looks like many have been able to get this motherboard to work with the thoroughbreds. Some have even reported the barton cpu to work on this motherboard.
Currently have the shuttle AK31 v3.1 motherboard. The shuttle/spacewalker website is a bit confusing since on one page it states this motherboard will support .18 Palomino XP's and on another page, it states "Supporting .18 micron process technology but does not support all of Thoroughbred...
You guys should not be picking up the square charger one. The ones that I picked up are the "speedi charger" which looks like a basketball foul line (ie, semi circle and all). Inside those packs are 4 1700 mah AA nimh batteries. Its list price on mine says 21.95. Online it says 17.59. They...
Ok, I picked up 5 extra of these Telepower/Jbro speedi chargers. It's the one listed on the microcenter.com website for $17.59. It comes with the 4 telepower 1700mah batteries. It also charges 9v nimh which is great since my maha204f doesnt. Anyway, I was kind enough to pick these up for the...

<< >>>there are other methods of obtaining the meat humanely.<<<
Hmmm...humane death? Sounds like a great plan. I would like to apply these methods to get me some humane meat...oops, I mean human meat; there are some bums a few miles from here, and I think they would taste just delicious...
<< I never really understood the logic in overclocking. Let's break it down:
-Say....933mhz processor: $120
-Then..Overclock to 1.1Ghz
-Add $45 worth of fans and crap
GRAND TOTAL: $165
How much is a 1.1 Ghz processor? Oh, around $155. And it's guaranteed to run stable too...
I've purchased from justdeals.com before or rather I've bought something and justdeals.com was the fulfiller. The first itouch cordless keyboard they sent me looked like a truck ran over it (the box it came in was perfectly intact). After a bit of a hassle I did manage to get them to replace...
Tried to print out the staples $10 off $40 instore coupon but the code wouldn't print out.[/i] >>
*My fault...color ink ran out. Coupon prints out fine. Thanks!
<< Don't know if this is Regional or not, but I once found a $5 bill in the street, B&M. I wanted the entire list to know of my success and good fortune in finding this hot deal.
This was a slightly tattered $5 bill, but it was legal tender so I didn't care. This was so hot that I felt I...
<< I have posted next weeks ads on my site once again. Thanks go to jwong1268 from FW once again for the orginal ads.

Has anyone got ther PNY 128/256 $10/$15 rebate from staples?
I bought the PNY memory like many here during the 12/20-12/24 promotion period which was in their flyers. The 128meg had a $10 rebate and the 256meg had a $15 rebate. When you go online however they seemed to only have the old rebate...

I called dell recently regarding the cancellation. After I sent them a letter stated my displeasure with the way they handled it, they sent me an automated email response stating that they were extremely concerned about the situation and that I should call their customer service # to speak to a...
I agree with many here. I may be disappointed in not getting the speakers for the price I ordered them for but I'm not angry or mad about it. I do believe Dell should have done a better job in promptly informing customers that their orders would not be processed. I placed the order on dec...
From what I've seen so far I think they will make good on the orders. Some people are reporting they have an estimated ship date of 12/21 while others have 12/26. Dell hasn't contacted any of the purchasers yet either about cancellation. I also noticed now that the item is no longer on their...
I wouldn't deal with Justdeals.com either. I've had a bad experience with them when I ordered some refurbished stuff from Egghead.com. They sent me a cordless keyboard that looked like it was runned over by a truck. I had to argue with Justdeals to get them to take the product back at their...
I seriously doubt it's windows ME that is causing the slowdown. I have a tbird 1gig on a kt7a raid (running at 100 fsb) w/ a visiontek gts card with windows ME also so our specs are very similar. I got around 2800 in 3dmark2001 at 1024x768 16bit.
700 is low but it also depends on what resolution you are running it at...if you ran it at 1600x1200 at 32bit then it's wouldn't be anywhere near 640x480 16bit. I suspect the sharing of the irq between the video card and the ethernet card is your culprit. Remove the ethernet card and put it in...
DMA is indeed important for harddrives. It plays less importance with cdrom drives however. Some dvd/cd/cdr/cdrw drives just don't behave well when dma is turned on.
If the chip is unlocked, I don't see any problems as you can just configure the multiplier. If it is locked, I think it will boot at 7.5x 100 so it will only show up as a 750 thunderbird. You can increase the fsb from 100 but fsb overclocking doesn't reach too high on the kt133 boards. Either...
The durons with the akca seem to overclock very well. I have a duron 750 with the akca and i overclocked it to 1000 just by changing the voltage (didn't even need to unlock it) on my motherboard. I did have to get a better hsf for it though as the stock one wasn't stable.

There were a few reviews on the ECS K7VZA 3.0 motherboard that stated this was a pretty good board. It doesn't have overclocking features or voltage adjustments but it is fairly cheap. I've seen it for around 60-70$ on pricewatch. If u don't need the 266bus, then u can probably even get the...
