it turns out it was a bad IDE ribbon but now I am having problems getting connected to the internet. I don't see any drivers on the ABIT Utility CD for the Network Card.

I removed one of my ram sticks. This is what I did. I booted with win98 boot disk. Went into the winxp directory with dos. opened the i386 folder. Typed winnt.exe so then it goes into copying windows files. Prompts me to reboot when its done copying files. I take out the boot disk and reboot...
