I do have the case fan powered thru the MB. I'm not sure how to throttle it down from there. Easy tune 5 that came bundled w/ the MB shows the Sys fan @1520rpm and sys temp@32c. The CPU fan@ 962rpm@21c. Easy tune is let me adjust the cpu fan speed according to the temp but not the case fan...
That is kind of what i was thinking. The case does have a large side vent. And I think that the air pulled around the HD will cool it as well. HD tune shows the HD @ 33 C.
normal mounts meaning in the 3.5" drive bay or mounted against the front panel? It does have a plastic shroud that is suppost to go over the CPU fan and direct that heat out a side vent. The shroud doesn't line up so it will be left out.
