Well I fixed my problem. I repaired my windows install which made my postgres stop working. So I reinstalled that and now everything works great. I have a feeling it was postgres.
My cpu is at 63c running at 100% load for a good hour now. I'm running orthos on it and so far so good. Too soon to tell for sure, but I think it is a software issue. I might reinstall windows if it doesn't find anything tonight.
I can make it crash a lot by datamining fulltiltpoker with...
I don't mean to hijack your thread superman, but I have such a similiar problem I decided to just post in here. Basically I have almost the same problem. I haven't changed much since the problem started occuring, but I did add a geforce 6200 LE video card recently...
I have a xp 2500 with a gig of ram, and I've tried using tight vnc on my computer, but it lags too much when I'm running a server. It uses 100% of my cpu. It works fine when I view someone else's computer. Is there some other kind of software that will work on my computer?
LOL, hey felix, I'm from 2+2 by the same name. I just wanted to say that the responses you got on this thread were 100x better than on 2+2. I just started reading about some monitors on here, and the people here offer informed opinions that are a million times better than what I've seen on...
I have two Linksys Wap11s I'm using as a bridge with my befsr41 router. The router is screwing up a lot lately and I want to get a buffalo router: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833162134
Will this work with my old wap11 I still have?
They usually have cheap shipping already, but I still think this is pretty warm. I hate going into walmart just because I'm usually in line for about 20 minutes during the day. I prefer meijer but their online store is horrendous to nonexistent.
Without getting too technical or anything, verbatim is awesome. If you're bored you can read forums that go into the media codes and stuff of different brands of media.
I don't think I'm too picky, I've used some philips dvd+rs made in taiwan for the movies I don't mind compressing and...
I'm not sure if the people at slickdeals already discussed this or not, but if you have a basic account you never have to pay the transaction fees so you should be ok. If you have a premier account you get hit with the 3.4%+$.30 fee or whatever it is now. Still not a big deal, though. Maybe...
Good deal on the case, but I'd be scared to use the psu it comes with since it seems like half the reviews I've read say that it ends up dying withing 6 months. Why risk it?
The tag might have the original price of $130 something in store. It's $79.99 on the website, but it rings up in store as $69.99. Also the protection plan is $19.99/3 years online and should ring up as that even though it will probably say $34.99/3 years in store...
Sharp is lcd and this is plasma would be the biggest difference I would tell most people. I bought the 42" panasonic plasma Nov 25th for $1200 from CC. Hopefully they'll still honor the price if it drops to $999 even though it will be more than 30 days, and if not I'll return the tv tomorrow...
I second this. Even with the 2 year extended warranty that's a great price and this tv looks a ton better than any sylvania lcd/plasma, but I've had nothing but bad experiences with TD and I no longer purchase anything there. Plus the newer flat panels are rated at 60,000 hours for their half...
I'm gonna have a three day sale at an office over the weekend. I have 800 dvds that I'm gonna sell along with some video games. They're all pretty good titles like independence day, save the last dance, american beauty, road to perdition, ect. Most of them are used.
I want a flat price for...
So for the $20 rebate for 2004 you don't need to send in the upc, only the rebate form for proof of purchase? Did I read that right?
<edit> It doesn't say anything about including the upc on my rebate form but I just called MS and they said to include it.
Ok so I have winxp and everything backed up on a wd 80 gb from a cheap hdd that came on an emachine. I have to move this new hdd to a new computer, and the emachine did not come with a windows xp oem cd. Am I screwed or is there any way to get this to work? I don't want to have to deal with...
I already ordered it before hearing the complaints of TG's rebates. If I had to go back again and not order it I would, but now that it's here I'm gonna try it anyways. Gonna use it as a family computer so I'm not too worried about the cpu being behind the psu or anything.
