^ I doubt that my misery will make you feel any better but, just in case it does, I bit at $200 - so I paid an extra $15 for a extra week of ownership :(
Newegg has the eSATA version on sale until 1/31 for $30 after $10MIR.

Or there are refub'd ones on Thermaltake's own website for the same $30 with no rebate.

Okay so I had a little time on my hands and did a little research on THW for my own satisfaction. Now that its done, I figured someone else may find it useful so I'll share.
Various games @ 1900x1200 only with various AA/AF settings (all numbers from THW charts)
HD4870 (512gb) / HD4850...
To each their own and $90 is nothing to sneeze at... but I'm wondering where you got the 10fps? From what I have seen on THW it all depends on the game and resolution.
I'm gaming at 1900x1200 where the 4870 is a better fit and the 1G of ram should come in handy. Additionally, I think this...
Newegg has the HIS Radeon HD 4870 1GB PCI-Express Video Card for $225 - $25 Rebate - $15 Code EMCABCHBH = $185 with free shipping.

The 512MB version is also on sale: $180 - $20 Rebate - $10 code EMCABCHFG = $150 with free shipping

Can I expect a big improvement over my current 9600GT? I have a crossfire mb and have been thinking of a single 4850/4870 with a view to CF later, but I've just been sitting on the sidelines after the buy.com fiasco.
Sorry for the questions but THW's charts give me headaches
Frys.com LINK = $100.00 + shipping (+ tax)
Newegg comparison Link = $329.99!
I don't need this myself....at least that's what I'm telling myself.
Product Description:
The EliteSTOR ES104TI Series is a 1U 4 bay rack-mountable solution that supports both SATA (Serial ATA) and SAS...
I've had both good and bad experiences with buy.com before. I wouldn't be surprised if they oversold their stock - between the eBay store and the regular one - and will have to backorder or cancel some.
Still, I'm going to stay optimistic....mostly because I want it so bad :)
Anyone got any insights on the LG W2600-PH?
There are only a few words written on it in this thread but the 'egg reviews are good. It would be primarily for gaming.
Thanks!
Thanks OP. The server has been getting full so 2 of these should set me up for a while.
You can also get them in a combo with a 0.5m SATA Rt Angle cable here if you need spares.
The strange thing is they are $2 after $5 combo discount, but when you buy 2 you get an additional discount...
LOL. I wasn't really looking for an apology. These things just seem to happen to me. I'll just have to skip a latte later this week.
Thank you very much for the deal in the first place! :)
Thanks OP! I always grab NOD when it goes on sale. Best price yet.
Never had any problem activating. I think my last activation was purchased over a year ago...and was for the older version. I downloaded the latest, installed and activated without issues.
'vi edit' - I'm not sure if this is exactly your question, but.... I have it plugged into a base station and then use 2 cordless phones for coverage around the house without issues.
It does not interface with the phone jacks in the house since it creates one phone jack at you PC - where I have...
I've had a MJ for about 6 months and while its not a Skype killer, it is a VOIP killer. There is no 'spyware' or 'adware'.
Its simple...if you have a PC that you run 24/7, or near to it, this is the best deal for home phone service you will find by a long shot. However, I still prefer Skype...
Wow! Thanks 'allisolm'!! I needed a good laugh. :)
My least favorite retailer is going to survive (partially) by being run by my least favorite etailer. Now thats funny!
Its a consumer matchmaking by Hades. I hope one catches fire and the other one burns.
They are $70 with free ship at Amazon right now - and most days I think. Link
Amazon also has a 30 price guarantee - if their price drops, and you contact them - they will refund you the difference.
