I will put a patient at the bottom of the pile when I go to get them in the emergency room for their xrays and they refuse to get off their phones. You can tell they aren't calling anyone telling them to come pick them up because of their body postures. The nurses will do this too.

I live within 3 blocks of grocery stores, movie theater, my car dealer,.2 mile from my work,5 blks to gym. I bike everywhere,with a grocery pannier and rack. Thurs-Sat, Dutch market is in town so I stock up when they come in
Yea it is feasable to ride your bike to work. If the car route is too busy, try alternate routes, or trails. Sorry I live in the DC area so we have a ton of trails leading in and out of DC. Shower before you ride, bring baby wipes to clean up with when you get to work if no shower facility...
Thats what I did, bought a hceaper model in the begining just to see if I was going to stick with it. I just upgraded to an Ibanez TCY20 and some lessons.
