    Anandtech X58 motherboard round up

I ended up with the EVGA, because of slot configuration. The motherboard also runs a little cooler for me. Customer support is superior and the I look at the constant bios updates as a blessing. Plus I love the clear cmos button on the rear, rather than opening case to get to it.

    EVGA X58 or Asus P6T

I returned my P6T and will have the EVGA X58 tomorrow, so I will let you know. The reason I am giving the EVGA a try is beacause I did not like the slot configuration of the P6T so not really comparing apples to apples.

    EVGA X58 or Asus P6T

The EVGA X58 is back in stock at newegg. I do agree that the NB fan means that their passive cooling is not as impressive as the Asus, but I'm used to the fan running all the time already on my 680i... hehe

MSI X58 Platinum - $80 cheaper then most X58 boards

I think the eclipse looks the best, especially with all the bling of those blue LEDs, but then if I ever do go 3x SLI, it would not work with my case since the last PCI-E slot is at the seventh slot....

    EVGA X58 or Asus P6T

I don't have a reason to go 3x sli. I'm leaning towards EVGA, it's just that their boards are not in stock anywhere.

Nice, I really like the layout of the eclipse, how stable is the bios? Have you tried to overclock it? Zap, please post your impressions, I don't know anyone else that has this board. Thanks in advance.

They have an MSI Platinum SLI version for people who want SLI, probably just a little cheaper than the Eclipse series.

    EVGA X58 or Asus P6T

Not sure which motherboard to pickup. Anybody have any experiences with either? I currently use an EVGA 680i and must say that their customer support is excellent.
