i have 3 roommates and we have a total of 5 laptops, 5 desktops, and 2 ps3's hooked up and have not gotten kicked off of cox for having too many machines. i think you have some other issue.
got my monitor this afternoon. not too bad shipping to california. ordered monday afternoon, received wed. afternoon. estimated arrival was friday so i'm happy
edit: ran the lcd test and there were zero dead pixels. it's really big and tall. i love the swivel. usb is great. when...
that's what i said last time it went on sale. i regretted it and have been checking hot deals EVERYDAY since then waiting for it to go back down to 750. i ordered it right after my computer loaded...
first of all, don't listen to the comments on ben's bargains. everyone thats posts there are a bunch of retards that try to be funny but are not helpful or funny at all.
second, try the dvi connection first because analog connection on the dell is not as good as the dvi connection. i've...
i'm thinking of getting this monitor too but it went on sale for 750 twice in the past few months. i'm just going to wait and this will eventually be cheaper than 750.
and dell home has sales tax on ca now too so theres not much of a difference.
are you running 1600 x 1200? if so, what hz are you running it at? the dell site says it does 1600 x 1200 at 60hz so i just wanted to confirm that. thanks.
it could also be your ram or motherboard that doesn't allow you to overclock as high as others. just try to lower the speeds and see if that solves the problem. it's a lot easier to do than reformatting everything.
i had an interview for best buy and everything was good until the dude asked me what was better pentium or amd? i said it depends. amd is just as good and sometimes better for less price. (this was back when the xp throroughbreds came out) after that he said thank you and have a nice day. i...
maybe the cpu was bad. no thermal paste != melted cpu. that's all i was trying to say. thermal paste should never be blamed for a melted cpu because it doesn't make that much of a difference. it makes you run cooler, but it won't melt a cpu. and like someone said earlier the motherboard...
lack of thermal paste does not mean you'll melt your cpu. the heatsink does most of the work. it'll be hot w/o the paste, but it shouldn't melt. he probably didn't seat his heatsink properly the first time.
i have used this enclosure for 3 months. i have a 4 gig compressed file and it is opening fine on it. many of my coworkers use this same enclosure so we can share big files (dvds) with each other. i've only seen one defective enclosure that messed up the guy's hard drive. we have at least 40...
i had a old school steel case and didn't cool too well. i replaced it with a aluminum enermax case with more fans. the temps are lower because of better circulation (not because of the case, but because i made the wires more clean so it allowed better flow) and more fans. i doubt that...
i picked up 2 spindles at pc club in lake forest. they had about 18 spindles out in the display case and i'm sure they had more in the back. i also tested them out and they are ritek g04's.
you can try ad aware if spybot didn't detect it. if you're getting hijacked, you can try hijackthis also. those programs should help, but also make sure you don't have a trojan like someone said.
i bought it for 50 bucks from amazon a few weeks ago...so 35+ tax and handling is still better than that. they're good headphones. pretty comfortable too.
i did it once and failed once. they usually know that you bought it in a combo cause nobody just buys these ecs boards alone from frys =P
oh yeah and the time i failed they said they would only give me another board without receipt.
not really, the s-video will have better video quality than the rca out and even with s-video you won't be able to really do much except for watch movies and games or presentations
yeah it should be fine because CS doesn't really demand too much. you might lag on the smoke a little, but it's all good. even my mx200 does decent on CS
