Mainly gaming:
Grand Theft Auto 4
Starcraft 2
Diablo III
Also as a file server and media encoder. I mainly use my MacBook Pro so this is going to be for games and heavy CPU/hard drive use.
I had previously used Antec SOHO cases. I just want something clean and functional. I don't want light up LED fans or some ridiculous color. This is something I can reuse on future builds so I'm fine spending some money on it.
Other PSU I looked at was an Antec NeoPower 650 at $89.99.
Any comments or suggest modifications? I plan on getting a video card at a later date. Probably a GTX260 or HD 4850.

Without knowing the type of motherboard you have there is no way to give a recommendation.
P4 Socket 478 processors had 400 FSB and 533 FSB. A board may support one or both. The core name can also determine whether it will work with your motherboard or not.
In any case, upgrading is not...

I'd just send a message back letting them know that you did not receive equivalent memory back. They should correct this readily. GSkill has always been easy to deal with.
They do not need to be hot swappable. I don't really like the layout of the XClio and the Supermicro does have the advantage of being rackmountable in the future.
The Lian Li that holds 12 is tempting but Aluminum always makes me worry about it getting bent. Supermicro cases are solid as...
Money isn't really an issue as that Supermicro is at $300 already. The number of drives is mainly so I can scale as drive prices get cheaper. It does need to be able to hold an EATX motherboard. This box is purely a file server, no need for anything goodies. I just have had good luck with...
Looking for a case that can hold around 8 hard drives and keep them cooled properly. It doesn't need to be rackmountable but that is always a plus.

Above is a Supermicro case that I am currently thinking is the front runner...
Same here, I actually got two of the cards. Wasn't as crowded as i thought it would be.
Did you score any extra bundles? I wish I would have brought another credit card so I could have gotten another set.

Anyone want to give the venue a call and see? I'd call but I don't have a phone handy right now.
When I ordered the server combo I remember seeing that the board included U320 on it. Now it says that it does not.
Anyone going to dispute this or what?

Take a look here and see:
^ CG stepping or higher for CPU support (NO B0 or C0 stepping CPU's supported)
This applies for EVERY processor that the K8WE can take excluding the dual core ones, which I assume are already CG...
Good call, I see via Tyan's website that the K8WE doesn't support C0 stepping? Why is this, and will they work still or what? Looks like my server bundle is going to other uses than a workstation.
