Thank you both for your replies.
@Matt1970 So that would be too much imaging? I just figured that would keep me most up to date.
@Charlie98 Yeah that was one of my next questions...what the image sizes were. I was figuring that since mine is a 512 GB drive I would need that size to store...
When you get a new laptop what are the first things you do? Normally I just remove bloatware and then get it online to do all the updating and off we go...untill there are problems. Then I am nuking the drive and doing the painful process of installing and updating everything.
This time I...
Does anyone know of a good PS3 controller that has the look and feel of a Xbox 360 controller? I have done a quick scan of them on the internet but the reviews are all over the place. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
For the battle bus just rip off the turrets and store it.
The APC is at the first tactical location at the start of the game. So start the game in another slot but use the same agent and get it then.
If it was me I would get AC2 but I am not a big fan of RPG games. Though my friends that are RPG fans think FO3 is great. You will definitely get more playtime out of FO3. If you like the RPG games then I would say go for that. AC2 is a lot of fun as well.
To be honest there is no real proof that the Jasper will be less likely to RROD either and it is still too early to tell. My suggestion is get the Arcade and then get either the 60 or the 120 hard drive and install the games you want to play on the hard drive. That will keep the heat and noise down.
Buy.com will put MS point cards and XBL subscription cards on sale also. I would much rather buy them from places like Amazon and Buy.com then ebay. Too easy to get ripped off on ebay.
I don't see why they couldn't use McCain. They could just use a younger version of him...from his military days. They could put him in his flight suit just as Obama and Palin are in their suits. Seems kinda odd they would leave out the one that was actually a soldier.
I have never been a fan of SC games and this just nails the last nail in the coffin. I have both consoles so I could get either game but I have never been a fan of special characters that weren't available for everyone.
Well lets see...I have the 360, PS3, Wii, PSP and a PC.
I used to be a big PC gamer but I have moved more away from it. Dropping a few grand just to play the latest games or Spending hours installing it and getting drivers right or issues with the DRM from a copy I bought from the store or...
Nah I just got this card and I don't want to upgrade to PCI-E just yet. When fall rolls around I will build another system and I will upgrade to PCI-E then. For now I just want to build a good system for the card I have.
Ok I have been looking into getting a new mobo to make the step up to 64 bit. The mobo I have in mind has a spec that says:
Expansion slots 1 x AGP8X/4X (1.5V only)
I had never seen this 1.5v thing on AGP documentation before. Is it something new they are doing? Now I did a little...
Well I will tell you this...I bought and built 3 systems on the ECS L7S7A2 board and they all work great two this day. They one of the "enthusiast" boards. I haven't really heard too many bad comments about ECS. They aren't the greatest for Ocing but they are decent. Though I am looking on...
From what I hear the best CPU for gaming is the FX-57. If I was Daddy Warbucks I would get that one. From what I hear the FX-60 is scary fast. A true multitasking chip. The only down side though is that it is dual core. Games just haven't been made yet for dual core. For a gaming rig you are...
Yeah I have a Audigy 2 card I am going to use in the new system. I have never been a fan of on board sound. That is not something I really want on board anyway but very few good boards these days come without on board sound so you are stuck with it. lol
Well the 1000 HT thing was on the mobo...
Ok I am looking into upgrading from my AMD Athlon 2800+ I am going to dip into the 64 bit pool. Like the title says I am looking at either the 3700 or 4000 with the San Diego core. I hear they run cooler then the others and are better for OCing. Opinions?
Also looking at the specs for the...
Oops...Sorry I didn't see the second page. LOL Life is just crazy these days or maybe just in my mind. lol
Anyway...
Broly: Yes it is cool that they did that with her card. Though I hear that is the same with all cards with a lifetime guarantee. The BFG card I am looking at has that. Now it...
Recently? That was the one...9700 Pro. I bought it when my moms on-board video decided to give up the ghost. Couldn't get it to install so I swapped it with my brothers Nvidia 5200 and then I couldn't get it to install on his PC either. Ended up putting it on my Aunts PC. My brother didn't mind...
Well the thing is...I don't want to upgrade. I want to keep this system. When the time comes I will take this one and use it has my back up. Then I will build a new machine with all the current bells and whistles I want but for now I am happy with what I got. Just looking to upgrade the video...
Oh sorry. The PSU spec I was pulling from was for the BFG cards. I guess I assumed all are the same. Though I just double checked that is what the specs say on their site.
I have never heard of Fortron. They any good? I currently have a Antec 350 PSU. Never had a problem with it.
Now I have a few questions. I am looking into getting a better video card. I am a big fan Nvidia cards. I am looking at the 6800 cards. Now my questions...As I am looking into cards. I noticed the 6800 GT has a minimum of a 300w PSU and the 6600 GT has a 350w minimum PSU. Why is that since the...
I have a friend who wants to connect to his printer from his laptop but doesn't want any cords to worry about. He was curious which would be better to use...Bluetooth or Wi-fi? He has wi-fi built into his laptop. He doesn't have HSI at home only dial-up so he doesn't have a network set up. He...
Well without all the expensive stuff...If the drive hasn't written over it then you can recover it. If it has then you would have to send it do a company that specializes in data recovery.
Well I did someone digging and I found a 3rd party bios that changes the FSB programming range from 133-200 to 133-233 I am thinking with that bios I might able to use the 3200
Ok I have a question for you brains here. mobo specs here
A friend has a PC that he wants to upgrade. His mobo specs say his CPU max supported is a AMD Athlon XP 3000 with a FSB of 333. He wants to know if it is possible to put the AMD Athlon XP 3200 with FSB of 400? If not, why?
