Lian Li PC-6xx power & reset assembly

Check this site: http://www.silverpcs.com/ If they don't have it on their site, it might be worth giving them a call. They have other stuff in stock that is not on their site (I think). Good luck!

    Lian Li PC-A16

I have it and have installed quiet yate loon 120mm fans and it is awesome. I would highly recommend it. It is very flexible (like all Lian Lis) in regards to how you can set up the drives and drive bays.

Newbie question on Lian Li cases

I second the vote for the PC-60. I have my computers in them and they are great. I only use PC-60s (or similar in the series) and the parts are interchangeable. If you use high-quality fans they will move a lot of air and make little noise. I recommend Panaflo. Good luck!

linsys router flashed with DD-WRT can't connect to it

I think the point is to try with no security to see if that works. If it does, your security settings are the problem. If not, there is something else going on. What wireless mode are you using? Should be AP. Also, can you try it with channel set to auto? Shouldn't make a diff but who knows.

    Suggestions for a good router?

Good deal. You can use the larger distros (but not the v24 mega). Check this link: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/ind...D-WRT%3F#File_Versions You also don't need to worry about VINTage distros so that's nice too.

    How to extend router signal?

Check out some high-gain antennas on ebay. Here's one: http://cgi.ebay.com/7dBi-10-RP...1%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50 I can't vouch for these but it might help your problem and is pretty easy to install and on the pocketbook. p.s. Make sure the antennas on the WRT54GL come off. I'm pretty sure...

    Lian Li PC65

I say give it a try. Put some quality fans (that means no led fans) in it and give it a try. I'm using a PC65 for my over clocked 8400 dual core with an ATI 4870 in it and it gets warm but never overheats. If it doesn't work out, send me a PM and I'll but your Lian Li cases. :)

    Suggestions for a good router?

For the OP: Go with DD-WRT on a supported router. For MonKENy: Look at the label on the bottom of your WRT54G and check the version number. The version that you're reporting is the firmware version which doesn't matter. What hardware version you have will dictate what version of DD-WRT you...

suggestion for wireless N router that will run dd-wrt

Check out the Linksys wrt300n. It should be supported by the most recent DD-WRT, and has 4mb of flash so you can use the larger distros if necessary. Check this link: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/ind...ported_Devices#Linksys

    VPN Router - Recommendations?

Get a Linksys WRT54G, versions 2, 3 or 4, and install DD-WRT on it and use OPEN VPN. Works great for me and I use it personally and have set up a couple clients with it. You can get the router for about $45 on ebay and unlike the FVS318, it's easy to set up and it just WORKS! I'm not knocking...

Lian Li PC 60 Plus II + Zalman CNPS 9700 Fan direction question

I'd go with option 2. As long as the front fans are blowing in, you should be fine. What kind of fans are you using? The stock ones that came with the case? You can mess with higher-quality fans and adjust their speed with inline resistors. Fan noise really matters to me. Other people don't care...

    Lian Li PC61 owners

I thought the Silencer 610 was standard size. I have a EPS610 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16817703005) in a PC61 and it fits fine, but that PSU is standard ATX size. At any rate, the dimension you're looking for is: 7.25 inches measured on the outside of the case, from the very...

    Lian-Li PC-A09B versus PC-K10B

Personally I'd go with the PC-A09B. I don't like cases with doors, and I prefer all-aluminum cases. A SECC case is so 1990s. If you've got a little more money to spend, I'd consider this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811112164 it's got great cooling features. I have it's...

New case.. Lian Li worth it?

I'd recommend the Lian Li PC-A16: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...16811112131&Tpk=pc-a16 or the PC-A17 http://www.ocia.net/reviews/lianlipca17/page1.shtml You'll get max airflow with all 120mm fans. I'd highly recommend getting better fans than come with the case. Get the low or medium...

Review of Lian Li PC-A17 posted at ocia.net

A good review. I just purchased a used A-16 (precursor to the A-17), and for the most part, I like the changes they have made. The only thing I don't like (but wasn't addressed by the reviewer), is that the hard drive cage can only occupy one of three positions in the front: the top three bays...

    Lancool / Lian-Li K10

Nice case. But I personally don't like SECC cases and don't think they're any stronger than an all-aluminum Lian Li. I'd like more pics of this case and I look forward to your review.

One more question about the Lian LI PC-7A plus II

I have the same case with a 8800GT in it. I don't have any heat issues. Are you going to use the stock fans that come with the case? Remember, you could always get better or faster fans in the summer. You could also use a fan controller and turn them up when it's hot or you're gaming. If you get...

    LIAN LI PC-7A plus II

No, this case doesn't have reverse airflow, as other have noted. But even if it did, you could most likely just flip the fans and mount them so they draw air in the opposite direction. Lian Li: Great computer cases, terrible website! Good luck! p.s. here's a good place to get Lian Lis...

    Tuniq tower 120 in the Lian-li PC-65B

The only thing you can be sure of is that the mobo tray won't be able to slide all the way out. I have a friend who has a similar setup with a PC-6x case but a thermalright tower cooler (don't know exact model). He was just barely able to put the side panel on, but could not slide the mobo tray...

    Lian Li PC-60APLUSII F-Audio cable

You could just cut the cable and splice in more wire to extend it. It may not look all that great, but you could then sleeve the entire cable. Just a thought.

Lian Li V600B with Tuniq Tower

I don't think the Tuniq Tower would fit in that case, given the way the PSU is oriented. If you want to use the Tuniq, you'd have to get a case that mounts the PSU above the board, not parallel to it.

Which Lian Li case for new build

I personally like the G50B the most. I don't like cases with doors. I don't think the noise dampening will be much of an issue. I see the newer drive mounting method in the B20B which is very nice, but I don't think you'll notice much difference in the sound. And regarding the removable mobo...

    Looking for a SFF case

How about the Lian Li PC-V300? The only drawback is the two 40mm fans in the back. Otherwise, it takes 3 80mm fans. I'd try it without the 40s and just use Panaflo's for the 80s.

Anyone with a Lian Li PC-60A Plus II case, help please.

Kind of late but... your mobo should have more than one fan connector. I would recommend only plugging the CPU fan into the mobo; use connectors from the PSU for the other fans. And yes, your graphics card may need power from the PSU. Depending on what kind of card you have, it may need an...

Anyone with a Lian Li PC-60A Plus II case, help please.

Just put the side fan mounting in the way that it fits so you can slide the mobo tray in and out, and then flip the fan to either blow in or out, your preference. If you have a high end video card, you may want to blow in, otherwise, I'd use it as an exhaust. Lian li instructions aren't the...

    Completely Inept Boss

I hate hearing stories like this. I have a friend who's in a similar situation. How do these inept people become managers and bosses? I don't get it. My manager hasn't the slightest idea how I do what I do (I'm a DB programmer), but he's happy because my customers are happy with my work. He...

That sucks... did the USB ports ever work? Did you buy this new or used? It might be that the USB controller is borked... Did you try connecting a USB hub, and then connecting a device to the hub? Shouldn't make a difference really, but it's an idea... hmmmmm good luck!

    thin fan options

I have nothing but Panaflos in all of my cases. They are quiet and last for years. They are all the 'L' variant, with 'M's on the CPUs. The only thing to watch out for is that most of them won't spin up if you're giving them under 7v. So running the 'L's at 9v produces almost no noticeable noise...

    Lian Li PC60 vs *

I own five PC-6x cases. A couple PC-60s, a PC-61, and a couple PC-65s. They're basically all the same. In my opinion they're just as good today as they were seven years ago. You could go the Lian Li V1000 or 2000 series. They're very nice but pretty pricey. And I personally don't like the Antec...

Recommend: internet/equipment/software etc for wifi internet in coffee house

Regarding this question: 1.) Internet? 1 or 2x - Cable Modem Business Class? T-1? Here are my two cents: Since you don't want to charge your customers for the privilege, don't even think about a T1. The cheapest I've seen them is something like $299 / month, and for that price I'd bet...
