Well i decided to reformat my computer and set a partition to 32kb stripe for my os and 128kb for my games, anyway I decided to check my drives. So i deleted the raid array on my seagate drives.
The short test passed on both drives in seatools in dos
Then i decided to do the long test on...
I was wondering what a good stripe size is to use on a raid 0 gaming machine. Im using 2x 250gb sata drives. Currently I just made it 128kb as i just recieved both drives. But i didnt know if a smaller stripe size was better for loading maps on games or a higher stripe would be better. Any input...
Well on a 720p tv, you can run it at 1080i, which is 1920x1080. And since that resolution would be interlaced and have only 30hz, would it be possible to use a refresh rate force program and force it to 60?
Well I know on a 720p tv the 1920x1080 is interlaced and runs at 30hz. Well do you think forcing the refresh rate with powerstrip to 60hz would make it look better? I would give it a try but I have to get my hdmi cable to work otherwise I cant reach those high resolutions on my vga cable
Well I originally was using a d sub vga cable plugged into my monitor, then connected one of those dsub to dvi things that come with a video card and plugged that into my video card. Well i eventually bought a hdmi cable to dvi cable. Sometimes it would get signal to the card, and sometimes if i...
My motherboard is a p5k. I Currently ran out of slots on my router and i dont really want to buy a hub. I just got a xbox for christmas and there is only one ethernet port in my room, i was wondering if i could connect the xbox to the second lan port on my motherboard so my 360 gets internet...
Ill just see when i get back into town, but as for my speakers, there just cheap 10watt 2.1 speakers i believe. I do not hear any noise during cpu activity.
How can i tell if my hdtv has a TN panel? And yeah i agree with the inputs, its nice having several HDMI ports and all the other hd ports, etc.. But im only using a vga cable atm on my hdtv currently waiting for my dvi to hdmi cable to arrive. Will i notice a different between using a vga cable...
Right now i just recently bought the Westinghouse 26inch LCD HDTV for 300. Well while browsing on the internet today, i found that tigerdirect is selling a 28" LCD monitor for the same price. The only problem is it only has 1 hdmi port and no dvi port and i was looking to plug my computer and...
Well i might be able to possibly get a toshiba one for 50 dollars more. But otherwise im not looking to really pay more than 400. So would going with a 26inch but better brand be a better deal then?
Im looking to go buy a 32" tv and use it for tv/monitor/and display for my xbox. Which of these should i get?

Well at least your lucky there, my fan does not even spin. What bios are you trying to flash it to? Like can you give me a link to were you got it? I dont have the original bios.
Yeah same exact card i have. Let me know if you find something to get it to work. Does your fan spin at all on your card or does your card generate any heat at all?
Well its not really a loss i just want to try and get it to work because then its pretty much a free card to me. I recieved it from someone for free since they flashed it with the wrong bios.
Well im using the P5k Premium. So would i need to enalbe anything in the bios or can i put my 8800gt in the first pci-e slot and the 3870 in the other slot and try and flash it that way. So if the 3870 is in the second pci-e slot its probably going to be slot 1?
I have a dead HIS 3870 videocard that went dead after a bad flash. When i plug the card into my computer in the other pci-e slot, with my 8800gt card in main i try and run atiflash -i in dos and it cant find any adapters. So i plug the card into my other computer and use my ati xpress 200...
It shouldnt be the router because i have two other pc's in the house that work. And i also tried using the wireless adapter on the pc and it still didnt work.
About one week ago is when it all started. I go on the other computer in my house and it kept aquiring network connection then would disconnect instantly. And it kept doing this in a loop. I tried restarting the computer and it kept doing the same thing. So, i replaced the ethernet wire, and...
