so you want to use the full 640gb capacity? If that's want you need to reinstall the OS and install the SATA driver during windows XP installation so that win xp will recognize the full HD capacity
Mine is Q6600 (g0) at 3GHz @ 1.1825v (1.125v load) air cooled using TRUE on GA-G33M-DS2R. The highest I can achieved is 3.42GHz @ 1.3625v in just 8hrs of prime95 but my temps is too high for me (62, 61, 58, 58) so I lowered it down to 3ghz
If you'll buy q6600 don't use zalman 8700. It's not worth it for a quad. It looks good but its just a little better than stock cooler. I used 8700 in my q6600 at 3ghz before but after a month I shift to TRUE, it run too hot for me so I need to get a better cooler. My case is a clone of a...
Binky, your right about that. lol. :). I was just encourage with the oc of my friend's q6600 but his HSF is a Tunic tower in a mid tower case. I didn't taken into consideration that Matx casing is a lot harder to use for an overclocked q6600. But that's fine I'll have to make up with what I have...

Right now I have 3 80mm exhaust fans. My friend suggested me to customize the casing to create an exhaust at the top of the casing(on top of the CPU) and another at the side of the case(1 near the video card and 1 near the proc) but I haven't done it yet.
Guys, I'm a newbie so need all the help with this.
My current setup is an MATX (Icute Ibox) casing and G33m-ds2r MB with 7800gtx. My q6600 is running very hot in stock speed but my room is at 30C so this is probably one cause. My current temp at stock during load (prime95 after 10mins) 60 55...
Guys,
I'm currently using zalman 8700led. Do you think enzotech ultra-x is better than my zalman? Right now I'm not satisfied with my temps so I'm looking for another low profile HSF (below 130mm in height).
