    AMD blog comment on TWIMTBP

DirectX is proprietary to Microsoft (and ONLY under Windows)...it's not a open standard. Just like PhysX is proprietary to NVIDIA or Havok is proprietary to Intel.

    Physx is just a gimmick.

They ones talking about DX11 needs to put down the bong and STFU. I dare you to provide links to a "physics" API in DX11...ball in your court! And static physics vs real physics? Bye bye multiplayer...come on.

Was the P4 an 'engineering failure'?

So because Intel was the first to venture into uncharted physics territory the P4 failed? When i got my P4A 2.4Ghz AMD had nothing to compete. Hell DDR ram was a PC2100...my RDRAM was PC3200...took about one year before DDR RAM catched up. But if you call the P4 a failure, then the...

    GlobalFoundries Outlines 22 nm Roadmap

Then AMD shouldn't have made the CPU sound like a i7 competitor...big failure. If that is all your gripe is about I ppitty you...for trying to make a name, like eg. "dustbuster" into a "deal-breaker". If that is your problem, and you can refute the claims I made...then it's your arse that...

    GlobalFoundries Outlines 22 nm Roadmap

Which goes to show how useless "political correctness" is. The Phenom1+2 was late and sucked in performance compared to Intel. Fighting last year tech for performance is not a win. Just like eg the FX5800 or the 2900XT, the Phenom series has problems. From performance to die size to normal...

Just look at the die size of Phailure2...the same as the Core i7 die size. Now look at the prices for the either a Phailure2 or a Core i7...and then compare the Die size of a Core2Quad with the Phailure2 and the price. Don't need to be a rocket scientist in order to see why AMD is bleeding...

    Is my i7 920 temp @ idle w a Noctua NH-U12P SE 1366 Cooler normal?

Does people here still believe that the thermal sensors in Intel CPU's are usefull for idle temps? I am flabbergasted... (Hint: The sensors are made for determing when to start throtteling the CPU and thus works best close to thermal maximum and gets worse and worse the further away from...

Just got an i7 for $159 brand new in box

*LOL* The first batch of D0's proved to be good OC'ers, but after that the pattern show good and bad D0's...just like there is good and bad C0 OC'ers. That is the second time I see you post garbage, why is that?
