Thanks tbooth. So you're saying that a dummy install to a fresh drive (no previous versions of Win anywhere), and then skipping registration (activate key later)... AND THEN reinstalling on that same drive forcing a pseudo 'upgrade' will allow the key to work? Great news if that's the case...
