Orthos stable 16+ hours at 500FSB * 8 and *7.5
but when I load up 3d games , and I tried different games, they crash fairly quickly.
Has anyone else experienced this?? I tried many voltage settings..
IT must be something with corruption on the PCI-E bus but what would be causing that...
My board ABIT IX38 (X38 Chipset) and E8400 just doesn't like anything over the 450ish FSB range.. I even tried like 480 x 6 or 500 x 6 and it runs but errors on prime. :/
If anyone has gotten this board or any other X38 board to run close to 500FSB (with a 45nm cpu) please tell me what...
I don't understand exactly why I can run my CPU at FSB 460 with 1:1 divider
and it's about 1.26v to do that, but at 1:1.20 divider for the ram it's 1.31v to run it..
How could there possibly be that much difference between simply switching dividers? It must require more current on the cpu...
Can do all day prime95 with 8K FFT but soon as I do higher which stresses the ram also it won't run for 5 mins..
520*7.5.. so ram is 1040, but my ram is Corsair PC8500 1066mhz..
Shouldn't it run at 1040 no prob?
Do i need more mch? more cpu volt? more ram volt?
ABIT IX38 X38 Chipset...
