I don't understand how they could do that. If they limit what goes out the component ports, then you couldnt even watch it on tv - if for example your hd tv only has component inputs. They cannot tell the difference between what gets watched and what gets recorded.

Some good deals!
Example, for work, I bought 3x Smart UPS 1000 (New Returns) for $770.68 plus tax and shipping ($55.20 - ground). That is $256.89 each. Froogle best price is over $400.00 each.

Less than $10 difference for me including ~17.00 shipping and the 40.00 rebate.
Maybe they just lowered the price by $15? I first looked at it today, so it may have been $15 more yesterday when linked. Maybe now the better choice for those that don't like windows and/or want the...
Well, the Xeon upgrade gets you Intel Virtualization Technology, which the e2180 doesn't have...but it's a 50% bump in price ($100), not sure you'll get 50% better performance. Also I think max ram on that is 4gigs.
I've been thinking about putting something together with the spare parts I have laying around, but I am very tempted by the Qnap TS-209 Pro for a few reasons. The big ones, are the low power combined with all the apps. It runs about $400 without harddrives. The other option would be to buy a...
Fry's is evil. I was so happy when they came, but now it just causes me pain to see their ads!
Tempting to pick this up, also to get the Antec Solo case for $40 AR and Antec Basiq 500w PS for $10 AR, 500g HD for $70 and I know they have some ram available too.

No, not that one. IP35-E which isn't in stock...thus the comment '1/2 day late. Keep checking NewEgg for Abit IP35-E...$60 AR'
Here it is at abit's website...
IP35-E
Assume away folks...
Or...may be...it's the free guest pass that you get when you buy a 60 day game card. The one that doesn't give the holder anything for free when used. Since those were just on sale at Circuit City for $19.99, OP may have bought a few, like I did. OP may have thought...
...according to Nvidia in the 7800 FAQ page regards to the 7800GTX (didn't see GTO mentioned on their site)
Q: What power supply does it require?
Current recommendations are 350W for single, 500W for SLI.
Seems like you are ok for the time being...
That's pretty much going to be the case with any software decoder.
Example:
Apple's Quicktime in 1080p:
3.0 Ghz Intel Pentium D (dual-core) or faster processor
At least 1GB of RAM
64MB or greater video card
Windows 2000 or XP
EDIT: Hmm...after further review, looks like this card has 36 pixel shaders and the one they mention in the Anandtech review uses 48 pixel shaders. So may be you need the XT and not a GT. I guess further review is required...I'll do that and update later tonight.
