Not really. OptimumOnline is way better than any other cable service in the country, so anything would seem to suck if you have it :) Actually, 1.5/256 isn't bad.
I'm pretty sure the Thoroughbred-B's start at 2400+... which seem to be excellent overclockers from early reports (dunno if you're interested in oc'ing  )
As far as whether your motherboard supports it or not, I can't say much but I would doubt it since it says you can't go above 2000...
good point. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get most of the parts now and then just upgrade
like go with a 1600+ and transfer my old vcard...
thanks again for all the tips.
oh yea, i have an antec right now...
I forgot to add though that I want it to be aluminum.
I go to a fair amount of LAN parties and it's annoying to carry a steel case with tons of parts and a 19" crt around :P
can't afford the LCD yet but I'm hoping to start out by keeping this one light as...
Hey everyone. I'm planning on building a new system soon(not very soon... sometime in the next few months maybe around Christmas time) and I need some recommendations on some parts that can overclock well.
This is my plan so far... please give any comments on this
cpu: xp 2400+
cooling: Alpha...
yes, i happen to be an almost full-time pilot in b1942 and i eventually started using a joystick
started out with the keyboard though.
forget the mouse if you want to fly.. it's pretty much useless imho...
I'm completely agree with this.
I'm guessing they probably just tweaked for those.
I went down 100 points in 3dmark with my geforce2 gts so it's probably just for the newer cards.
