I do not want to partion my HD to have both XP and Vista to dual boot.
I want to try Vista 64 on a seperate HD, how can I set this up?
I have read about Dual Booting 2 different OSystems, one on each Hard Drive and using the Motherboard dual boot option.... Sound good but, where and how do I...
Thursday I ordered a MB, Intel Duo E8500 and 9800GT video card from Newegg and it surprises me that I live in Arizona and it is shipping from NJ.
I was hoping it would ship from California, I heard the E0 cpu's have been coming from there.
Has anyone received a E8500 from NJ and what did you get?
Looks like I need a new MB and CPU.....
I have a E3400 OC from 2.166 t 3.000ghz.
I went away for 10days and left the computer on, 3 of the 4 fans failed and she heated up.
Now I am having problems with USB ports losing and aquiring, also having problems with jerky motions and video spikes...

Has anyone put a E8400 on a P5B plain vanilla MB?
Since the stepping is locked on mine bios 2001, it can only be set at 6 or 7 or 8, what did you do to overclock it?
Or did you opt for another board?
P5B to ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard.....
Going from a P5B to a P5Q Pro, What are the chances of NOT having to reinstall the OS winXP sp2, has anyone been able to do it or am I doomed to a reinstall once again?
I have a E6400 that OC to 3.0GHz but I am thinking of...
Can someone tell me if I am doing this correctly or not?
I have another thread about what I have done so far but I did something different today.
I have tried to read as many threads about overclocking but I am still not grasping it all the way so i have my doubts at what I am doing...
I have been away from overclocking and games for about 5 or 6 years and life goes on..... Fast forward to today and I decided to check the internet for the latest and greatest hardware out there to see what is good to run for gaming.
So I decide to check the specs of what i have on my business...
Can a EIDE HD and a SCSI HD reside in the same system?
I need to run a duel boot setup so I can run DX7 on one software and DX9 on the other software.
I want the SCSI HD as the bootup and EIDE HD as a storage drive. Is this possible?
I have never worked with or configured any SCSI drives before...
I just bought a 3.06 system with a EIDE HD.
I have been using a 1.7 system with a SCSI HD.
I want to know if I can switch the SCSI HD from the 1.7 system to the 3.06 and not loose all the info that is on the SCSI HD????????
Both systems are Dell.
Is this possible.....
