Sounds like Idaho or Eastern Washington is a good fit for you. I live in Central Washington and it's a pretty red-state culture even though we're not a red state
So as I finish up college, I'm currently renting a house with 2 of my friends (one of which owns the house). It's a sweet deal and a pretty nice house. It's a split-entry house with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. The downstairs isn't really underground, but that's where my...
What kind of question is that? I don't know anyone in 8th grade that takes trig/pre-calc.
Besides, math can get tough when you haven't taken a math course since 2002 back when I was in high school.
BTW, thanks for the all the feedback. I'm going to start working through them and post any...
Nevermind.
The main thing was my external HDD was not reading but the light was on. I realized that the USB 2.0 cable that came with it had 2 males on one end and 1 male on the other and that I was supposed to plug BOTH males on the one end into 2 separate USB ports. whoops.
Remember this.
BTW the light on the HDD turns on when plugged into the USB 2.0 ports.
My mouse doesn't work when I unplug it out of my onboard standard USB port and into a USB 2.0 port. Should it?
The USB ports do not work I guess. I just tried plugging my mouse and my printer into it and they aren't working. The PCI Card for the USB ports came w/ a disc with some drivers in some folders that are labeled VIA, NEC, and ALI. There is no auto-run or main installation.
As I mentioned...
Hello, I just received my USB 2.0 120GB External HDD in the mail and I can't seem to be getting it to detect.
I'm running Windows XP w/ SP3
I'm also using a PCI Card with USB 2.0 slots in it. I plugged it in, booted up my PC, and windows detected it and installed the drivers...
Okay, using the quotient polynomial from using synthetic division, I rewrite the equation except with one less power across the board (becomes 2x^4, etc) and using the numbers from the quotient. I do that twice because there are two real zeros. However this only brings it down to 2x^3 + the...
yeah supposedly by finding the zeros it will help simplify the equation somehow and I'm supposed to find the rest of the zeros after I "get to x^2"
I'm kinda lost too.
I have a polynomial
2x^5 - 14x^4 + 28x^3 - 24x^2 + 48x - 64
I used synthetic division to find the two zeros which are :
2, 4
Using the quotient polynomial means to use the numbers obtained when doing synthetic division (the quotient of the zero tested times the number in the original...
I don't recall registering at the post office. I think I did on my fafsa right after I graduated. Is that possible? I did receive a pell grant for that one year...
I've searched everything on google and ran a few searches on this site as well and found no help.
I've been using my ps3 controller on my PC for the past week with the driver and have had no problems. The last two hours it hasn't worked. I tried reinstalling, rebooting, unplugging and...
GOT IT!
But, I wound up with my answer looking like this
1.25 +/- 1.03
----------------
-1
What happens with the -1?
nevermind, it makes the -1.25 positive.
Sweet deal guys.
I also rounded my decimals to the hundredth
I'm still stuck on b lol. What was the horizontal distance from the base of the stump when the frog was 3.25 feet above the ground?
You guys are all helping. And I appreciate it. I've been sick all week and so I'm forced to cram tonight.
So the function given isn't something I can figure out on my own and must be provided by the question for me to solve? Cause that's where I'm mostly confused.
We do here too, but the problem is that I haven't been in 11th grade for 7 years and the math classes we pass in highschool count as jack shit for credits when we're in college because they want it taught differently. At least around here that's how it works.
I'm studying for a math test tomorrow and I'm having trouble with the height equation. The question asks:
A frog leaps from a stump 3 feet high and lands 4 feet from the base of the stump. We can consider the initial position of the frog to be at (0, 3) and its landing position to be at (4...
What was the name of that tower defense game that some of us on here were playing a couple years ago. It was on some free website and I'm sure it was flash based. I want to say it started with an X or something.
Pulp for the win. Tastes so much more rich and flavorful plus the chunkiness helps it glide through your mouth and down your throat at a slower rate so that you can experience contact with the orange juice for extended periods of time.
No we don't, however we both know for a 100% FACT that i've received at LEAST $75 a week. I know it's more than that but I thought it could be done with a conservative estimate of $75.
Anytime an accident report is filled out by an officer, they have to write a ticket. I think it should be a judgement call by the officer. Since you were both nice about it and it was minor and everything went smoothly, I wouldn't have nailed you with a ticket if I was the officer. I'd leave...
