I asked a question bout my 6420 compared to 8400 in gaming, but I couldn't overclock, I was unstable. Success overclocked my 6420 to 3.0 I had to up my MCH voltage by .3 and it is rock solid stable orthos after 12 hours of testing thanks guys
Nope, not Orthos stable I even up the Vdimm to 2.1 but hey it was free and its rated Vdimm is 1.8. Not even at 1:1 ratio either. But like I said I don't overclock either more into stability I have tried it though
Yeah, I know what you mean mine starts buzzing real loud but when I move back about a foot or two it quits. It really gets annoying. But look at it this way you know when someone is going to call you before the cellphone rings.
If evrybody was like RealTek We wouldn't be havin' no driver problems. They Put out new drivers like Wh****. D*** there good and quick to bad Nvidia can't do that.
I have been using 64Bit Vista on and off since it came out but since I slipstreamed SP1 into my setup thanks to nuhi @ msfn.org it has been completely stable for me I am a firm believer in it now.
you might as well get a Q6600 instead of the E8400 if your into graphic and Adobe it'll make use of the 2 extra cores, because those are multi threaded apps
