Yeah the screen is not the largest I could get but im looking for power and value. Have you seen any decent systems that fit the bill for a reasonable price?
Hello all,
The laptop I am currently interested in for $1,649 is:
Intel ® Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz (2.8 GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache)
ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 4670 1GB
6GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz
500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
Full HD Widescreen 15.6 inch WLED LCD...
I personally use Easynews and they are pretty good. Nice web search so you don't have to use a reader. An auto-unrar so you can just get one file rather than multiple files. The plan I am on is:
Easynews Classic: $9.98 for 20 Gigabytes or 30 days, which ever comes first and up to 143 days of...
So I got mine setup. It is really nice once you get the calibration correct. I actually left the displays hardware settings default and used my nVidia control panel to adjust the brightness/contrast/gamma. Also I am using DVI which tends to bring a brighter / more vivid picture by default than...
Thanks again lads for the heads up on this deal. I went out and bought one from the Goleta, CA Costco. $269 - $50 + tax + waste fee = $253.04
Crossing my fingers that it will have no dead pixels when I try it out at home tonight. If it does I am not sure I will be able to exchange it as there...
I am thinking about replacing my Samsung Syncmaster 931b 19" with this. Seems like quite an upgrade...
How much you guys think I could get for my used Samsung? $100?
I wonder if it would be better to pay 5 more dollers for the faster 1066 version:
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) $44.99
What do you guys think?
EDIT: Apologies for not reading the entire thread before posting this, either way I just had some Crucial...
I currently have an E6750 oc'd to 3.0GHz, this CPU seems comperable as per the benchmarks shown on PassMark:
OC Benchmarks
I am not sure if I should just wait and get something better...
Anyone seen any better deals that an Abit IP35-E would support well? Wonder if it would support an i7 :D
How is the case design? easy access, sturdy parts?
This cooler master I have was not designed very well. Most of the clips are plastic and were not placed with enough space to move them around.
Hi guys,
I am looking for someone who is familiar with the ASUS PK5 Deluxe Mother boards for overclocking.
I want to try to overclock my system as I had it OC'd stable with my Abit IP35-E which I just replaced with this new motherboard but the BIOS is rather confusing and I don't want to...
Here is an additional CPU no rebates or anything but free shipping:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Couple more options:
Video/ram
PNY 8600GTS $25 Combo with 2 Gigs of OCZ DDR2-800
Or a beefier video:
Sapphire 100245L Radeon 4850 @ Newegg.com $129.99
Cooling solution
ZEROtherm ZEN FZ120 120mm CPU Cooler for Intel Socket 775 AMD Socket 939/940/AM2/AM2+ $4.99 AR @newegg, exp. 11/30
I just recently went through this on my Intel based computer. I eventually tried flashing the bios but they just bricked my motherboard. Currently I am waiting for my new MB to arrive in the mail but I would suggest a few things.
If you can get it up, try to restart and get into the bios...
Nice! I bit... I practicly have an entirely new machine from the past few days:
- Replaced my DEAD POS Abit IP35-E with an ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP
- Replaced my Powercolor HD3850 256MB with a BFG GTX 280 856MBI will need a beefier Power Supply than my Antec EW500, so this is perfect!
Yeah I tried to flash the bios version to possibly fix the problem and it is officially a useless piece of garbage.
So now I need a new motherboard that will do as good a job as this one did.
The one I had is ABIT IP35-E
This one looked like a good replacement: ECS GF7100PVT-M
Are...
PS: Antec EW-500
I had read that the double boot this is a common issue with the board here. I also clocked the cpu back down to specs.
Still getting the double boot issue though.
Hello all,
My current rig is the following:
Case: Antec Solo
MBoard: Abit IP35-E
CPU: E6750 OC'd to 3.20 GHz
Memory: 2GB Crucial Ballistix
HDrive: Maxtor DiamondMax 21 500GB
Video: PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 3850 256MB
I read that the IP35-E never post from a cold boot the first time...
$233.73 shipped / $213.73 AR. I just hope I can place my registration in time to get the bundle before they run out of them.
It will be upgrading my Powercolor 3850 256MB card. Quite an upgrade and I can probably sell my 3850 to someone at work for $50 - $80 bucks and offset the cost even more.
I wonder if I should get this. Currently I have a Powercolor 3850 but the 256MB version in my PCI-E... Anyone think it would be good to get this one for crossfire with my current card? Or is it so outdated would it be better to wait and get something else all together...
The Egg has the PNY 8800GT for back down to $110.99 with free shipping and free Frontlines: Fuel of War
It was $109, then $119, and now $110.99...
New Egg apparently keeps fluctuating the price. Still a good deal imho considering no rebates and fs.
