If you were building an external harddrive today what drive would you choose?
I'm leaning towards either a 640GB-1TB WD green/black or Seagate. Curious what you all have chosen based on speed, heat, etc.
Looking for a SATA drive that I can turn into an external hard drive. Or an external hard drive.
Looking at the 750GB - 1 TB range because I like the price point.

PCI or PCI Express
I need to connect a external HD via eSATA and would like more USB ports...
Have 2 PCI-express and 1 PCI slots open.
What are your suggestions as what to do? I've been looking for a PCI-E card that has both USB and eSATA but so far haven't found anything too promising...
Will the Corsair 550w VX Series 12v ATX 80 be able to fit in my HP 9400t? Will it physically fit or does HP make it impossible to upgrade their PSUs?
