Maybe you've just downloaded the graphics driver rather than the whole package?

Motherboard/Integrated Video Drivers> Full Catalyst Suite or Individual Drivers(Motherboard/Chipset)>OS of choice
or you may have to go with a 'legacy' driver...
Download the latest version, disconnect from the internet, safe mode, uninstall all nVidea drivers in add/remove, run DC Pro, install latest drivers and don't take the option to install the IDE driver? It's been a little while since I did it....
Also tried removing from the control panel -...
Thanks but unfortunately the cheapest GPU locally is ATI HD3450 @ AU$39 and an add-in firewire card is $AU15-20 taking the G31 option up to AU$126 minimum.
I'm looking for a cheap s775 MB with integrated GPU to pair with an e7300 or similar to replace my aging s939 box.
I was initially looking at the GA-G31M-S2L @ AU$72 (my work PC uses one) but I want DVI and Firewire onboard too and add-on cards would take the G31 well over the price of the...
A quick Google reveals comments that it's a custom made µATX MB for HP/Compaq and is only supported by HP, drivers are hard to find etc etc.
I'd only buy it as a last resort.

"we weren't sure how things would go when it finally came down to overclocking. Of course, since the NF4K8AC-8EKRS lacks any multiplier controls we did not expect to get very far...
We started out the overclocking at 200 MHz, raised...
The Foxconn nForce 4 boards are not renowned for their overclocking ability - the opposite in fact.
A quick Google of reviews will reveal the reviewers disappointments... Sorry.
Thanks myocardia. It was just a thought.
While it was good through winter to have this 'heater' in my daughters bedroom, I'd like to reduce heat output and power consumption as summer approaches but without spending a fortune.
More research required...
I've got a Dell SC430 Server running 24/7 with a Pentium D935 CPU which I presume will be chewing up the power.
Can anyone advise if the more efficient Pentium E series or similar CPUs will work on this board (Intel E7230 chipset)?
Rumour suggests they will cover warranty for a year after the change then you're on your own.
If they go out of business then you're definitely on your own :D
Oh well, no big cjhange for us Aussies as they're boards have been extremely difficult to source for a long time.
Hopefully they'll have the great looking IX58-MAX motherboard as their swansong.
Are you talking GM (rev 1.0) or GPM (rev 1.0)?
My GPM NB runs nice and cool at around 40c and I've verified that with a probe (ambient is currently 20-25C).
That's in contrast to an NF4 NB that ran 5-10C hotter in the same room with aftermarket HR-05 cooling...
Maybe the larger heatsink...
I ended up with the GA-MA78GPM-DS2H and and am more than happy with my choice.
I was thinking of waiting too but don't need the overclocking abilities of 790GX or RAID5 as I have a server.
There were good (& thoroughly discussed) reasons why the 690G & P35 roundups didn't appear and I'm sure there is a good reason why this hasn't either.
I always look forward to Gary's articles & blogs but if I need reviews of a product now and his haven't appeared then I'll look elsewhere and...
