I've had this one for several months. Nice case and fits my Dell 8600, with extra room for charger and wireless mouse in the main compartment. Only con for me is a zipper for the cell phone sleeve thats right by the main zipper which always gets tugged first. grrr...
I got the 8600 with the 1.6Ghz "undocumented" upgrade. It appears they just ran out of the 1.5's and substituted the 1.6's. Other than that eveything else was just as ordered. Didn't get past the Dell startup (whacked XP Home and loaded Pro) but it works like a champ. Have a friend with one...
If you only use stabilized chlorine your cyanuric acid levels will continue to increase which causes corrosion and can only be lowered by draining the pool. The best combination is to use stabilized chlorine to get the CA levels at the right level, then just use bleach which doesn't have...
The whole DeBeers manipulation/monopoly business model has always been a blight on the basic principles of supply and demand. It's about time technology throws these thugs out of business...
Went ahead and ordered the cleaner and lube and it works great.
What's cool is that it's not petroleum based so there's no oily residue on eveything when you're done cleaning (the spouse really likes that part). :D
They're remodeling the one in Savannah GA. so if you go by there they will give you a free dozen out of their truck! (Hurry, they will be open by Saturday):D
Toyeast sux for customer service and shipping is a nightmare.
Try one of the US hobby stores such as www.hobbytron.net. They're taking orders for a 2 week ship date.
Just got the Sunbeam silver (SVC) and mounted it in a 4U rackmount with great results. The LED's are as bright as they say so you may want to have a door to cover them in a low room lighting situation.
100% "Full Spectrum" is still not available at lower wattages but it should be available in the next few months. The "compact fluorescent light" (CFL) folks are getting ready to introduce a new full spectrum bulb that has the lumens of a 100 watter with only 9 watts of load...
Back in the late 90's when VRML was the "hot" new web 3D rendering language Caligari and others (V-Realm Builder, etc.) were the lower cost alternatives to the high-end authoring apps such as Silicon Graphics, etc.. Most of these companies went belly-up or reorganized after MS decided to not...
No comparison between USB 1.1 and 2.0. I use external drives between work and home and the 2.0 version is just as fast as the internal drives. 1.1 is pain to transfer data.
Got the 5.25/3.5 USB 2.0 version a few weeks ago. Works great in XP with a hard drive since it recognizes it as a mass storage device (not removable storage). Speed (for USB2.0) is almost as fast as internal.
