I bought the mouse from them. It arrived FILTHY!!! Looked like someone who ate greasy food all they long used this mouse for a year straight. Anyways, after some thorough cleaning this mouse looks almost like new and works great.
Don't have much against 8600, except that it feels a bit flimsy and sluggish at times (when gaming and using cpu intensive apps). 9100 or 9200 are heavier but much more powerful if you want to game or photoshop, etc. Just my 2 cents.
well, I have the old muvo2 and the microdrive works in my dsc-f828. If anyone has the new microdrive out and is close to MD, VA area, I would be happy to test it out in my dsc-f828 and report the findings.
Do you have the DSC-F828, if so it is compatible with microdrives and the new muvo2 still has a microdrive inside, though its ATA compatible only. Should work, IMHO.
I just got the brand new one from creative that I bought last week. It, indeed, comes in different packaging, a square box instead of oval one. I checked the drive and its ATA only, does not work in devices that accept CF-II, only works in the ATA mode. -- just an FYI.
I would not want to stop anyone from buying and selling, etc. The version 2.0 is in fact not a myth check dpreview.com forums, you will see many people confirming. Also check ChubbyWallet to see more info.
also, this WILL NOT work on win2000, so do not buy it to use it for win2000, it won't work!!!! I bought it and can't use it on win2k machines, only on my xp.
I need win2k drivers for this. I will give you winXP drivers if you can hook me up with win2k drivers. I bought 2 one for my home server one for my laptop and laptop has win2k.
Thank You,
Vadim
STAPLES IS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!
Just called to get the items and they said that each one you get you pay shipping of $27 for.
Hence, each you get is like $105 or so. That means 2 would be $210, etc. -- spoils the whole deal.
So they make the deal complete crap. Its cheaper to buy it from...
Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't this be a really good fit for the 6400 servers we all are waiting for?
According to WD site it is a very nice drive.....
