I've had my V9999GT clocked well past Ultra speeds.
The highest I've pushed it is 425/1200.
I do have an OCZ Powerstream 600 PSU with dedicated 12v rails for the cards which probably makes a difference though.

OK, so in that case it doesn't look like it's faulty. It must just be a feature of the card.
Disappointing, because it does mean that I'm limited to only using the drivers that asus release, and can't get Samurize to display the temeperature.
I see from some other posts that several people here have Asus V9999GT 256 graphics cards.
I recently upgraded to one from an ATI 9800pro and am very pleased with all aspects of it except one.
The temperature sensor is definitely working because the Asus Smart Doctor software is able to read...
