yeah i want screenies. 4ghz on an e6600 using air is very very very good. and if it's under 60 load even better. but i seriously doubt u can do it at 1.5v or less.
Screenies
yeah that's a sucky ass oc.
i oc'd my e6600 to 3.8 stable on air
my ram is supposed to be good but is turning out to be uber crap, so i'm still messing with it.
get a 680i board and u can unlink the two and get some sweet ass ratios per se.
if u're worried about frying, then oc isn't for u. nor is stock. although amd did ship some pretty decent stock hsfs with the 939s.
aside from that, google amd 939 overclocking and u'll get a ton of results, including basic guides.
can u even fit an 8800 gtx? i've read from some people that it's too long to fit inside the p180 and that u have to remove the upper HD cage to make it fit.
noise and temps are the reasons to go with water vs air. that and you ahve to be pretty good with cable management. If u ahve anything smaller than a large mid-tower case, i'd say don't go with with water. your case is already gonna be so full of wires that u won't have room to swish hoses...
wha... so i can't go into 1t mode at all?? :( I've read people setting their rams to 1t all the time.... i should've gone with ocz :(
i can't get intel tat to work. i installed it, but i get some funky error when i run it.
Hey all, hopefully someone can help me or at least explain to me some problems i'm having with my ram overclocks.
Asus 680i mobo with an e6600
I currently have a 2x1gb Super Talent T800UX2GC4 DDR2-800 rated at 4-4-3-8 2.2v.
I can't get the damn thing to boot into windows at those...
better yes, good, no.
if everything seems to be right and it still that high it's time to invest 50 bucks into a new hsf. better to spend 50 on a new hsf than 300+ when ur c2d fries.
smart is a tool to get a quick health status check on ur HDs. not for controlling cpu fan.
either way, that's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high. u should be running at 36 degrees celsius at most.
u either need to reapply some as5 properly (don't just glob it on there) after properly removing...
i'm a gamer and i use a p180! i don't need no stinkin led lights!! they only suck up power on my already taxed system!!
go OCd c2d e6600 with sli 7900gs and 7 hard drives!!!
i have however, noticed that my second vid card is a bit too close to the 'wall' for proper cooling. i'm thinking i...
Hey all, I just put in a new pny 7900 gs into my c2d system and the idle temperature according to nvidia's panel is 51C!!!! that seems awfully high. i'm not overclocking anything and this is a brand new installation of win xp with the newest drivers.
is this normal? or am i gonna have to...
Hey guys,
I need to buy a 120mm fan for the front for my new e6600 system on my antec p180.
I was thinking of getting a Nexus, but I heard from a friend that it doesn't mount properly and he had to do some things with twisties to get it to mount.
So my question is this: does anyone have...
the p5n32-e board has a notorious vcore undervoltage and horrible vdroop.
it's a known complaint. Dunno if Asus is addressing it, but it's a common problem.
Hey guys, I just bought a pair of Super Talent T800UX2GC4s PC-800 ddr2 ram for my eventual e6600 system.
My concern is that the heatspreaders on mine seem to be made of plastic!! I do plan on OCing to 1000 and was wondering if these are any good and whether I should worry the heatspreaders...
why is it that my subscription only lasts for 1 month? I got one issue of CGW last month, but I still haven't received this month's issue.
This was the same with EGM. I got 1 issue of EGM, but then 2 months have gone by and not another one has come.
