    Need POWA for ClimatePrediction!

It depends on what crashes on the system. The project saves to disk every 144 timesteps. In a three-phase model there are 777,744 timesteps total.

Predictor@Home has started to accept new users again

The BOINC project Predictor@Home has reopened to new users. If you want a backup to SETI-BOINC this project is up and running most of the time. Project Homepage: http://predictor.scripps.edu/index.php

    Joined the AnandTech Boinc team!

BOINC is not the problem. The S@H project is the problem. Here is a link to another BOINC project that is working correctly. http://predictor.scripps.edu/index.php This project seems worthwhile and both BOINC projects can coexist safely.

Climate Prediction is ready for BOINC

Climate Prediction in its current form sends an update to the server every 10,800 timesteps which is about 7.5 model months. My faster computers do about one update every ~8 hours.

    some new BOINC info?

ClimatePrediction.net is planning to move to the BOINC system later this year. So a second non-SETI related project will exist for users. The project leaders think the BOINC version of the software will be ready in two or three months.

    !! Weekly Stats For ClimatePrediction.Net + News !!

I don't think it matters a whole lot if you go by full runs since the project expects to have quite a few runs that die before the full 45 years has past. The offical way to track rankings is by model years. Your way is a good as any other way unless the project expose the full completion and...
