The problem with this statement is that the force of the gravitational pull is based on the size of each mass and the distance the two masses are from each other. Theoretically all objects exert some type of gravitational force on all other objects, no matter how much of a distance there is...
I had to call customer service because it's been over two statement cycles and nothing's posted.. they were extremely nice, the guy put me on hold to check out the offer, came back and said he transferred it to a marketing rep to look into and properly credit my account because my account wasn't...
Another vote for Sweet Baby Rays.. it's absolutely the best hands down.. and if you're recommending it and you use that homemade recipe, I am definitely going to try the recipe. thanks
-Dave!
Just an update!
EDIT 3:
I'm posting this a week late, but last Monday (4/16/07) went in for my second post-op exam. My vision is officially 20/15 in both eyes. My vision's been about the same since a week before that, as well, so it only took about 7-10 days total. I'm very happy with it...
very good point.. in a more perfect world the banks would detect attempts to log in to multiple different usernames over a specified period of time from the same IP...but in the real world who knows.
and while the intentions are good, when the new login process is not implemented properly...
i think what they mean by two separate screens is you enter your login on the first screen and the password on the other.. that way they're transmitted in two separate transactions.. is this more secure? i highly doubt it.. one of my banks did this about 5-6 months ago, and in the process they...
I always had a little starburst type affect around lights at night, particularly, for example, christmas lights because of their small pinpoint.. Nothing that ever bothered me or was even noticable unless I was trying to see it.. Maybe this is normal? I don't know. Anyway, it has not changed in...
Yeah, it's not perfect yet (like wearing glasses or contacts was) but it's getting there, and it's the best i've been able to see unaided in over 10-12 years.. so it's truly amazing. Overall I'm glad I did it, it was definitely worth it to me.
I'll update again after the next follow-up...
I'm not too worried about the future implications, and the doctor I had has a good reputation, and I personally know 3 other people who have had PRK and lasik procedures from her which helped sway my choice over some of the less expensive alternatives..
anyway, i forgot to mention in my...
pretty much fear of the laser kept me staring straight ahead :) They kept updating me to the time, every few seconds they'd say "20 seconds" or "10 seconds" but my eyes, naturally, would start itching out of anticipation. They also keep a close watch on you, the doctor kind of guides your head...
Note: See bottom for cliff notes.
Here's the breakdown, for anyone who wants to know.. PRK is similar to Lasik except instead of making a corneal flap, they scrape away the top layer of your cornea and shoot the laser through that. I had to get PRK because my cornea is too thin, and they...
Got home at 7pm saturday (EDT) after just a little over 27 hours.. sorry for the lack of update :) and now on my way back in for another fun-filled shift. we managed to get by only eating one of our coworkers, and that was the guy no one really liked anyway, so no biggie :)
thank you, mercanucaribe, for totally ruining my planned enjoyment of a microwaved feast on my kidneys..
actually, do you think i could squeeze the kidney into the toaster? that might cook better. :)
So it's 3:24am EDT.. I had to work until midnight, but here in the north east there's no driving anywhere.. so five of us are snowed in at the office. At least I made it to walmart and got some microwavable dog food. :)
I've always done it myself..but this is a really nice feature for a few reasons..
-I'm too lazy to backup my contacts on a regular basis onto my computer, this will do it automatically once a day, or on demand.. so if my phone falls off a cliff i dont lose everything since my last backup...
Just noticed when going into my online account that sirius added a bunch of new channels that are available online.. previously I couldn't get Blue Collar or Maxim radio.. both of those are now available along with a bunch more.. this is good news, since at works my radio sat receiver doesn't...
Just another shout out to Sirius.. I got hooked when I listened to my brother's back in January when Stern and Bubba were just starting out.. My favorites: Stern and Bubba (Howard 100/101), Blue Collar, Raw Dog, Maxim, Faction, Alt Nation, and Octane.. and I can't listen to an FM radio anymore...
I get the same issue with verizon, no email and forward to a business account login form.. is the verizon form broken or is anyone else getting it to work?
This radio is excellent... It's built well and a convenient size.. I've had mine since the end of January and love it.
And I'm an avid Sirius supporter as well. :)

I'd say it still is, but the way the OP posted it, it makes it look like some obscene amount of money he's short on... at least that's how I read the title..

This deal was posted here a couple weeks ago, but for some reason the thread died with stunning speed. I bought the monitor and it is excellent. The picture is absolutely great, it comes with both VGA and DVI cables, and the manufacturer's policy is far better than you've given them credit...
Bump and update. I got this today and it's an excellent monitor. No dead pixels, comes with both DVI and VGA cables and a male-male audio cable. Also, the warranty card that comes with it states a 3-3-5 dead pixel guarantee (as opposed to Newegg's 8 pixel policy). It says they'll replace it...
you guys have convinced me. i've been waiting patiently and this one hit the spot. the $15 shipping sorta sucks when you compare to their usual free fedex supersaver, but it steal beats the tax..

I read a short thing on the site posted above and a guy said he had a hole in his microwave and decided to try sticking his finger in it to find out the exact same thing, and he said as soon as his finger got close it got really hot really quickly, and he instinctively had to pull it away...
I found the answer to this with my trusty googleness (or at least it makes sense). Since the gold band (which was probably just a gold colored foil) was thin, it acted like "the filament of a light bulb". This would explain why it sparked and "disappeared" because, in a sense, it probably...
