Sorry to kickup an old thread, but I have a question. They sell one of these VR3 MP3 FM Modulator, VRFM7 at Wal-mart.
My brother raved on about how cool it was and what channels worked best here in town. My only question is will this thing auto turn off after a while? My brother said he...
When it comes to burners they suck at ripping speeds. There is also a speed limiter built in that you must bypass with a hacked firmware. As for the best speeds if you don't use a Lite-on you will need to use a regular DVD player. Your speeds should range from about 7X to 12X during a rip...
Hmm. well it's a 50/50 issue.. I've got 4 kids.
I'd say you should check on them when they are
under 10 months.
Most of the time you will find out that they are
crying because they are wet or have gas.
With some of my kids they needed a night light.
I always try to make sure the baby has...
I get those too sometimes.. so does my wife.
You probably need to work out and lose some weight.
Also try not to be stressed out... hard thing to do when
you have bills, kids and wife.
Have your Doctor look you over, you might have high
blood pressure.
And just think.. years ago we all sang and danced to his songs...ewww. The media keeps trying to play him off as a guy with no childhood. That is BS, so what if he didn't play games with other kids. Does any of that matter when you are guilty of a crime? I'd personally like to know more...
You should get that Temp down to around 50C.
So a better CPU cooler is needed, but by doing
this you may need a better PSU to support it.
Try this first.. do a scandisk for bad sectors.
Then buy a better CPU fan/sink and then
if that is not enough start to replace things
like the PSU, Ram and...
The Enermax case didn't come with an Enermax PSU? That's Odd...
You said it's only half way turned on? Are you running this off the
5V red line or the 12V Yellow Line?
The 480P TruePower Antec is a nice PSU.
LOL.. it's the SIS chipset with onboard sound that was killing the Audigy card.
It would see the card fine.. just the sounds would go insane and make crazy
noises.
I used Google to find that link.
I also tried using the website and could
not find the same link...strang.
If you use the 15A the Watts goes way above the 350Watts and
that makes me question if the website is just old or if the
sticker is a lie..
...webmasters are normally just lazy.:P
Ahhh.. strang that the website is wrong?
Okay.. so with the new information you list off the label it should be.
28A on 3.3V
32A on 5V
15A on 12V
Much better!:D
In general Antec, Enermax and Fortrons are all good brands.
I was just making a point that only this Fortron will not make
a good PSU for his system and that a Antec with 300Watts is
not enough power only in the extreme limits for his system.
http://www.fortron-source.com/atx203.htm
Read the Chart Below FSP350-60BT and FSP350-60BN.
MAXIMUM LOAD = 10.0A
I read the part about the first Power Supply.. and then
saw the change after posting. Yes, I did not read all
the reply posts and I'm guilty of that. Even still don't
point fingers...
FSP350-60BN:
[MAX AMPS]
28A x 3.3V = 92.4
25.5A x 5V = 127.5
10.0A x 12V = 120
=339.9 (350Watt ..my A$$)
Normally 10A ~13A on the 12V AMP makes for a bad Power Supply.
You should think about getting another PSU!
Nothing but problems with SIS.. I'd pay more for a Intel 865 or 875.
The problems I've had are with the Abit SD7-533 and IRQ problems
with Audigy soundcards.. I fixed that using random IRQ's in the Bios.
The Abit SD7-533 has been the worst board I've ever used.. I can
sum it all up in 1 word...
I guess you could try using only 1 DDR and see if it will boot.
Maybe you need to clear the Cmos and boot with the new ram?
Maybe you need to update the bios?
Does your board support 2700?
Does it support Kingston?
I hate SIS... I'd keep the ram and get another motherboard.
Man.. the crazy BS I...
Best link I've read in a long time.. Good read!:D
Because of this I've finally figured out that my Antec
Led fans have been crashing my system. The 4th case
fan was enough to hit 358.09-Watts out of a 350 Enermax
Whisper. I think I'm going to take them all but one out of
that computer for a...
Drops to 20%???
Try using adaware and also scan for viruses.
You might also want to ctrl+alt+del and end odd looking tasks
just to see if some other program is hogging the cpu.
If you changed nothing and you are using the same cd's.
I'd say either the drive is dying or there is a software...
I don't think there is not much more you can do unless
you add more fans to the case maybe? If your
willing to spend more money on cooling, something
like the SubZero4G? Thermo-electric Cooling (Socket 462)
would get down to around 35C and not take longer than
15minutes to install.
I'd say it's cheaper if your only upgrading, but your right.
The cost of an OS and such really makes it about the same
if not more at times. Then again if your buying a DELL you
get a restore disk and not an OS disk, so sooner or later your
going to buy that WinXp OS again.. some day...sigh...
Crack just like everyone else?what else would we be smoking?
Yes, less Quality parts. The Dell Case is good for the Dell motherboard but it?s not made to fit other boards so upgrading is a negative.
Then Again I said ?Parts? and by that wtf are you smoking? The Intel board might be quality as...
If your mother board has DC (Dual Channel) then adding in pairs would boost the speed of the ram.
Otherwise you can use your single 3200 with no problems, you just don't get the added speed
boost.
Xp uses more memory so It might be using more of the
HD to buffer data? I know what they say about NTFS as
being better. But to tell you the honest to God truth
I think Fat32 ran faster for me. I also defrag my drive just
as much with HTFS as I did with Fat32. The only thing that
is better is...
49C at Idle is about right for that chip.
You could get less, but then you would
need a Delta fan.. those are too much
noise for most people. Give her a spin
and see if she crashes again.;)
If you're going for an nForce2 motherboard with integrated graphics make
sure you use TWO sticks of memory in Dual Channel setup - that will
increase the 3D performance by about 30 - 50% compared to using only one
stick.
The Leadtek-WinFast K7NCR18GM is also an nForce2 motherboard with...
I only tell people to by Dell if I know they don't
have all the money and are not smart enough
to be getting into this sort of stuff. That and they
would be asking me so many questions I'd just
be saving myself time..heh It's bad of me but
very true.:D
Get a case with Windows and use those...
For the speed grades where the A and B overlap, you might
be able to tell by looking at the voltage code (4th character
from the end of the part number):
---TBredA | TBredB---
1800+ L U
1900+ L *
2000+ U/K** U
2100+ U U
2200+...
It sounds like you know enough to just build it yourself.
Buying a Dell would only help in 2 ways.
1. Payments
2. Warranty
3. Time saved not building
The Cons of buying the Dell would be.
1. Can't upgrade unless though Dell.
2. Get less Quality parts
Building it yourself would help in other...
