    sound popping/skipping

    thanks for all you guys input, i think i might have found the problem. Easytune 6, yunno the gigabyte overclocking tool, was causing the sound to crackle and stutter. when i closed it, it stopped. wierd. well, thanks anyways guys! :P

    i just got an amd phenom 940, gigabyte ma790gp-ud4h, creative e-mu sound card. But, i disabled the creative and ran audio off the onboard and still the same thing. i just defragged, but that didnt work. its practically a brand new comp, i dunno why it would skip.
