Can anyone help me with this?
After creating a new partition with Partition Magic 8.0 and installing Fedora Core 3 with GRUB, I cannot boot up into the IBM Recovery partition. I searched and found that I needed to change the bootloader configs but doing so gives me a session manager BSOD upon...
MEPIS is very good for beginners. It provides all the drivers and plugins needed to replace Windows XP. The only problem I had was Firefox's tendency to crash with a segmentation fault everytime I visited a multimedia heavy site.

I hope I put this on the right forum.
On my computer, localhost:110 (TCP) brings up a strange POP3 server that I did not install. It only prints out the OK READY message and stalls.
Can someone show me how I can detect which program uses this port?
A top level DNS server is too powerful for my uses. I think its better to rephrase my question.
If I register a domain name such as www.sample-domain.com, can I map that domain name on the DNS server I have on my network? Will people from the external WAN be able to find...
