Both systems' BIOS recognize the drives as 180GB and 200GB. I think Windows did something to truncate them, even though I was using them for months to their full capacity before this error occured.
I have a 180GB and a 200GB drive that I'm looking to recover data from. I was tranferring files to/from the discs, when Windows XP stopped interfacing with them. Whenever I click on the drive, it prompts me to format it.
Placing these drives into another computer (whose BIOS recognizes the...
Everybody rags on generic tools, but I haven't seen much solid evidence to back it up.
FWIW, I've always used generic sockets for minor-medium jobs, including automobile work. I've broken one 12mm and one 14mm socket in maybe 6 years of wrenching. Yes, the quality isn't as good as...
I have a Shuttle SB51G (Intel 845 chipset). It supports up to a 533 bus. When I'm running a P4 1.8/400, it lets me select speeds from 100-132, and when I'm running a P4 2.4/533, it lets me select speeds from 133-165.
Is there a way to up the bus from 400 to 533 on the 1.8 (or any other 400...
Yeah, how is this different from VNC? I've been using VNC for years, but would change to something better if there's a big improvement in productivity...
It has a small keychain ring at the end, so you could hang it anywhere.
Another neat thing I found was that when you plug it into a USB port, the LCD displays the connection, and has simple animation when file transfer is happening. I took out the battery, and the display was still showing...
Picked it up after it was back in stock, received it this morning. So far, everything looks pretty good. Just drag and drop files over, and you're ready to go. I'm a little worried about the jog/toggle dial, and how it'll hold up to repeated use. Playback quality seems just as good as...
It's basically a computer of sorts, and doesn't care where you're connecting from. Think of it like your notebook - you can send email and surf anywhere you have an internet connection.
I'm a total newb when it comes to headphones, and am wondering what makes/models are good.
The set for work is going to be used to listen to music. Sometimes the office gets kinda loud, so some noise cancelling ones would be nice... although earbuds would allow me to know if someone was...
Saw it in the usual Wed-Thurs ad, picked it up. The shelf tag still said $69.99, but it rang up $19.99 + tax. Tested with my Epson 5400 (printer/scanner/copier... a hot deal here awhile back), and printing works perfectly. Haven't yet tested LPT ports or scanning functionality.
Outpost...
I've read some favorable reviews for it so far, but I can't seem to find if multifunction printers are fully supported (scan / faxing, in addition to printing). Anybody know?
