There have been a lot of reservations on Fatwallet concerning this deal, because Radioshack has goofed on the which PSU you actually get which in turn might not work with the rebate.
There are some great Instructables on how to modify Belkin transmitters to output an acceptable signal by installing a bigger antenna. I just bought this last week for $20.00 at Walmart so this is a great price for this transmitter.
The problem with CFL bulbs for me is the mercury content. If one of them is dropped then the mercury goes airborne creating a breathable hazard. What I'm excited about is in the next few months Lowes and Home Depot should start carrying LED bulbs, which consume less energy, are a little more...
If they had any other color other than white available I would do it, but I'm just not a fan of white t-shirts, they are always the ones you get for free from some organization.
This last time the computer was on suspend and when I clicked my mouse the computer started beeping at me. There was no forewarning, it was working and then it wasn't. I never had artifacts or any other problems.
A few weeks ago I recieved a replacement for my 7900gs KO from evga and then yesterday it too failed, making a total of 2 cards failing on me. Now I'm trying to figure out what could be killing these cards, besides the possibility that the cards themselves are the culprit. I do have a backup...
If it is $60.00 to start off with is it even worth bothering with this printer? I am not trying to rag on this deal but just want to know if I should really buy it. T
Thanks OP
Has anyone had any experience with "thetechgeek.com?" I am hesitant because they list this item as "new in white box." Which is most likely refurbished and not new.
I think your best move would be to RMA the cpu because you don't have access to another board to test it out. If the replacement doesn't work in your system then you should look at the mobo next as the problem. But it sounds like the CPU is dead, for whatever reason.

"With the use of laser pointers that are more powerful than five milliwatts, there would likely be damage to the actual vision," he says. "Functional damage could occur within seconds."
And the damage is permanent.
"This is a potential hazard to people?s eyes, but rarely is it going...
Although the deal looks hot there is a lot of debate about whether or not HP will fulfill your rebate, check HERE at Fatwallet to get an idea of what you are in for if you buy this printer.
I am going to write a complaint about the warranty not being a full warranty, from every indication on the webpage it appeared to have the full warranty.
Well I got the same email of apology in which I was told that I would be refunded the purchase amount, BUT, I actually received my order yesterday!! These people are generous. Alas I sent them an email notifying them of the mistake, we'll see if that happens, but at least I won't feel guilty...
I would not buy these to use in one of my systems because of the apparently high failure rate. On the Newegg reveiws of the top 10 there are 7 or 8 reporting dead sticks after 8 months. UGLY. Still I might buy a set to sell.
I loved how their clock measured the time remaining until the next deal by saying 1 hour and 650 minutes left.
Too bad they don't have any 8800 B products in stock.
Got one before the price change. Thanks OP.
No free shipping on this, even though the email says otherwise, I just checked my bank account and they charged $68.00. But I'm not complaining.
I have updated to the latest Bios but it still will not post with the two sticks in dual-channel. I was able to put the kingston ram in and that came up in dual-channel, but when I switched them for the crucial chips it wouldn't post. I do have the sticks in the proper slots for dual channel. I...
1. Both sticks are good on their own.
2. Will boot with both sticks in single-channel, but once in dual-channel it won't.
3. Worked at first with a pair of Kingston sticks, then when I put in a set of Ballistix it wouldn't boot so I put the Kingston pair back in and it no longer worked even...
