ATI HDTV Wonder Remote Control Edition 149.99$ at Compusa

I don't know about the ATI applications, I don't have them installed. The card works fine in MCE 2005 & you only need to install the drivers. the included antenna is sold as the "silver sensor" Amazon. Works very well if you have enough signal strength indoors.

    Nikon Coolpix 3700 3.2MP Digital Camera 3X Opitcal $126 AR + shipping

Hmm they called to tell me there was only a 16mb card coming with the camera. Then asked if I wanted to buy any upgrades. I said no, I only want the retail package (which is the truth, I am giving this as a gift) and no further pressure from them. So they are more pushy than the ordinary...

    I Know, I know ...

Dell makes great computers for non-enthusiasts. Their stuff just works. And they have great deals on entry level machines, check the deals forum. Get a basic machine for $400 and spend some extra on memory. Dells prices get less attractive if you pick upgrades or want a specific parts in it.

    All hard drives suck!

I have seen drives from various manufactuers fail. Plus, you'll always find people who had an excellent experience with a particular brand and some who did not. The one Drive That Really Sucked, the Deskstar 75GXP, is no longer on the market, so no worries here. So back up your data, and buy...

    2 7200RPM drives [Raid 0] VS 1 10,000RPM Raptor Drive

<mantra> Raid0 had no benefit for desktop usage. They will shine only in very specific scenarios like video editing. Performance increases for desktop usage come from faster individual drives and using multiple drives individually e.g. putting the pagefile on a seperate drive</mantra>

    EDIT:Finally Bought!!!!!Which Speakers to Buy? Klipsch GMX 5.1, Logitech Z-5300, Logitech Z-680?

I have the Z2200s, and while they are worth the $50 I paid for them, their utter lack of midrandge makes them not very suitable for music listening. Nice bass though and I like the volume and on/off dongle. Try the Swans M200 if they are still on the market.

Yes it does relevant? Hard to say. Have you ever heard new details in music you know well? Auditioned different speakers? Spent a substantial amount of money on audio gear? If you have said Yes once, it probably is. Otherwise, save the money. I have heard good things about the $25...
