ARGH they stole my idea for reverse flow! It's so obvious to put the turbos in the middle! Make the plumbing much cleaner if they want to upgrade to front mounts as well... I wonder if the extreme heat will make the hood bubble after a while.

theres a pic of beryl's new little trick. makes it look like the window is burning away. Looks a lot better in motion, none of that tearing. I guess that opens the door for a lot of cool particle effects, some a little...

that one shows off the transparent terminal, oooooh.
Should bump this. Jusr got mine. I thought they were packaged well. They were all japan models. They only thing was they never sent me an email saying I ordered or they shipped or anything, but all is well.
I <3 Ubuntu. Using the Hoary repositories aren't so bad. Granted I don't really do anything with the ubuntu box besides mess around, but stuff doesn't USUALLY get borked when updating. Once in a while the devs will put up a new kernel without updating the modules, thats the only time stuff...
I've been saying this ever since they announced they were pulling SS. I saw on slashdot(?) some time ago a thing about someone getting to get the actual GPU to do hardware sound. The problem was that it was AGP and weren't really designed to send data back to the northbridge.
My theory:
Nvidia will put soundstorm onto their vid cards and call them multimedia cards.
I remember seeing something on slashdot about someone getting their gpu to accel the sound, but it was hard to do because agp bandwidth is not really meant to go back to the northbridge. PCIE has a...
Doh, It did it again. Seems after teh computre is on for a couple days it reverts back to that wierd problem. A quick reboot fixed it, but its still suck.
Hey guys, The easiest way to get xorg on ubuntu is to just change the apt-get sources list. Change all 'warty's to 'hoary' and do an apt-get dist-upgrade and you'll have xorg along with whatever else theyre working on for hoary. I guess this isn't the best if you want to keep the stable warty...
I got this mouse about a week ago and have been noticing something odd. If all windows are closed or even minimized it seems mouseware just stops working. Pointer moves slower than normal, the scroll buttons and program switcher button don't do anything, etc. What the dill? THX
HEy! Hawks and Brembo blanks are not a good combo. The do stop very well once they heat up, but stopping at low speeds will sometimes cause a graoning like a dumptruck. Hawks also dust a lot. get axxis metal masters. They stop better than oem but aren't full out track pads.
on the n7s's there are jumpers right near the ps2 and usb ports that deterimne if they get power while the compy is off. There might be something simailar on yours.
Well, I guess I conceed there is no real reason why I would want it like this, but I have a jpg on my desktop and it would be cool to have a thumbnail rather than that weird icon for the built in jpg viewer. I realized today that gnome and kde treat icons way different from windows anyway. You...
well, in gnome for instance, if you have a jpg on the desktop its displayed as a thumbnail. I think its a nice touch. I figure since the destop is really just a folder there has to be a way to switch it to thumbnail like in all other explorer windows.
I've been searching various forums trying to see if it is possible to get the thumbnail view on the desktop. I hope its not obvious, but I do hope it's doable. TIA
Check out the forums at www.nomadness.net I know there was problem with the headphone jack breaking off of the circuit board. I had to take mine apart and resolder the jack back on. 90 day warranty and on day 91 it broke. :( Not to thread crap, but i figured people would like to know.
