I am currently using Everest Home Edition and MBM5. MBM tells me that my CPU temp is 68C and Everest is telling me that it is 50C. I am currently running Prime 95. I have a Palomino XP2100+ CPU on a Abit KD7 mobo. I just installed a SI-97 heatsink. Am I looking at the right place in Everest for...
My friend is using an AMD XP 2100+ chip with a Abit KD-7 motherboard. We recently installed a new heatsink (SI-97) and his temps are 70C CPU and 60C case while running prime95. This seems abnormal, would anyone know what may be causing this? His computer is not t-bred so it is not overclocked.
I got it to work, but I have to turn off my wireless card reboot and then it will give me a good IP. If I leave my wireless on and reboot I'll get it the 169 ip.
Yea I think you are right. My laptop just hates me. I let my cousin try to fix it and when he turned it on it just worked, but then when I shut it down and tried it again later on it didn't work anymore. And now it still doesn't work.
I get this problem with any wireless router. I tried to connect to my friend's wireless router that he set up in his room and I get the 169.x.x.x address.
I can't seem to connect to any wireless routers. I am currently on campus and I've tried to connect to many wireless routers, but I always get a 169.x.x.x ip address with subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 Does anyone know how to fix this?
Did you ever find out what the problem was? I think I have the same problem you have. My wireless stopped working a few days after I installed Panda AV
What is good to run to test my memory? Should I do this blend thing in PRIME 95 or should I use something else?
I had o/c'ed my computer before and everything ran fine, but recently i took it apart to clean out all the dust and when I put everything back together my system wouldn't bootup so...
You don't automatically get updates when you sign online? A little popup box should come up on the bottom right corner of your screen saying your definitions have been updated.
Panda always seems to update everytime I go online. I get a little box at the bottom left corner of my screen saying things have been updated. I don't have a username so am I missing on updates that I don't know about?
That was what I was planning I just didn't want to back up the worms (I don't know how they work so I didn't know if I backed up files if the worm would jump into my external HDD)
I don't know how I have something called malware.worm_agobot-5. Only Trend Micro's online scanner finds it. I tried to google a solution, but I couldn't find any fixes.
I tried, but they don't go away. I ran panda's online scanner and trend micro's online scanner and norton antivirus. nothing seems to work so I just want to format, but I need to back up a couple of files first.
If I have a lot of worms and back up files that are non-system files(like mp3's) would I back up the worms? Most worms that my virus scanners have found are in the Windows folder and its sub-folders so if I back up files that are not in those folders am I safe?
