Can bad RAM lead to processor instability?

I am in the process of RMAing my faulty kingston hyper-x ram (won't run 100% stable even at default settings), and I am noticing my 2400+ won't do 2.5 ghrz stable anymore :( I've been trying to burn in this processor for about a day now and nothing is working. Could it be that the...

What's the best ram for around 200?

Makes sure it isn't Kingston, I am having the worst experiance with them ever. What I need it to do is atleast go up to 210fsb and low latencies. Thanks

Urgent help with a Vdimm mod I did on my nf7-s

I did the mod to give my ram more voltages, but nothing changed in my bios. How do I give my ram more voltages? I am pretty sure I did this correctly since nothing has blown up and I double checked to make sure I soldered a wire to the correct pins.

Vdimm mod for the NF7-s Rev 2?

Can someone lead me to this. I want to put 3.1 volts into my kingston hyper-x pc3200 so the damn things will go to 220 fsb stable. Also, what is considered *too much* in the world of RAM voltaging. I have heatspreaders on my Hyper-X and even at 2.9 volts, they just get warm. Thanks in advance

    Voltage question

I currently am running 2 volts into my 2400+ M so I can get 2.55 stable, my question here is, I feel that I can get more mhrz out of this baby with some more volts. Would it be a good idea to do that (I would never go above 2.5 voltages)? I am running it on a thermaltake volcano 12+ and it...

Would there be any point in having a divider for my RAM here?

My kingston hyper-x ram blows chunks (can't go above 205 fsb at 8-3-3-2.5 stable) and I have been forced to settle my overclock for my 2400+M to 2.55 ghrz (204x12.5) becuase of it. My question is, would there be any increase in performance were I to have a higher fsb with a divider so my ram...

    PSU problems

I recently bought a thermaltake purepower 420 watt psu and it's been randomely restarting, my computer. I looked in motherboard monitor and apparently my 12v rail idles at 11.73 or 11.80 and itloads to even 11.6X. My initial thought was because I had 1.95 volts pumped into my cpu and 2.7 volts...

    My CPU passes prime but

My system seems to be not stable. It's weird. I keep on getting memory cannot be read errors in Half Life 2 and CSS (either that or it will exit itself out) and in Call of Duty, it will crash to desktop. I have my 2400+m at 228x11 @ 1.95 volts, it's completely stable according to prime95...

    Quick voltage question

I want to get my 2400+ perfectly stable at 2.5 ghrz and I believe I can reach that at 2.00volts. I have a thermaltake volcano 12 extreme so cooling is not a problem at all :P IN fact, I never go above 116*F So is 2.00 volts fine for my cpu? Will it not explode?

Raising fsb past 220 on an abit nf7-s

It seems that I can't raise my FSB past 220 when I am seeing people with the exact same processor boasting speeds like 280x9 (don't remember specifics but bear with me). Everytime I raise my fsb above 220, my bios alarm goes off. And I read this entire article about this guy who got his...

    Raising voltages problem Please help

Ok, I am trying to get my voltages on my 2400+m up to 1.9 volts so I can get it stable 220x11 (I am taking advice from another person who easily accomplished that) and if I get it up to 1.9 volts at any speed, while running p95, after about 5 minutes, the computer turns off and the siren alarms...

Rate my OC of my 2400+ M

http://www.a2golf.org/images/comp/overclock.JPG Abit NF7-S 2400+m Kingston Hyper-X pc2700 6800 GT I can't seem to get it up to 200 mhrz and have it stable, and I am confused. I don't think it is my ram because at 200 mhrz fsb, my RAM is at 333 mhrz and 5-2-2-2 (which is what it's...

I want to get my 2400+ M up to 200 mhrz FSB

I currently have my CPU at 177x13 (2.31 ghrz) and I want to get it up to 200 mhrz but anything else just seems unstable. I am pretty sure my ram is hlding me back because it is PC2700. I have Kingston Hyper-X pc2700 at 6-3-3-3 (it's actually marketed at 5-2-2-2, should I change it to that?) ...
