i didn't run into any problems with the build. if it was my machine i would have spent more time fine tuning the overclock... as of now it stands a stable 4.2ghz @ 1.24v. thanks again for the assistance guys.. much appreciated.
--- I would get a cheaper case just to save some cash. Something from the Coolermaster HAF series perhaps?
--- From what i've read there isn't much of a performance increase from 6950 to 6970. Maybe the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 2GB with a possibility of unlocking the card to a 6970 might be a...

apologies for asking repeated questions. im trying to keep under budget (my buddy said it is too much right now) and the UD3 will not cut it. the asrock pro3 that Microcenter has is the mATX version. would the GA-Z68AP-D3 be an ok board? i am sticking to MC because i got the 2500k for 150...
thank you for all the assistance. i will def be OC. from what i read 4.0ghz should be achieved. anything more than what i paid for is fine though.
i was going to try to get Corsair XMS 8GB DDR3-1333 24.99 on BF.. decent?
thank you, guys. i am most likely going to pick up a lightly used HDD as that seems to be a good option. i saw a couple people with barracuda drives... any good? i will drop the cooler. do you have a Z68 motherboard option that Microcenter has in stock so i can get that combo deal...
i've been talking to OCZ tech support and reading various forum posts.. it's looking like i need new ram. I currently have OCZ PC2 8500 SLI edition (2x 1gb) and have the problem with the splash screen freezing and the inability to enter the BIOS. 256mb stick of micron ram booted fine. Any...
thanks for the responses, guys. the only change to my situation is that my keyboard (USB) now stays lit up instead of just blinking once on startup. the PS/2 keyboard does not stay lit up. key strokes still do not register though on either. just a bump until this resolves.
i cannot enter the BIOS screen with my OCZ pc8500 ram... however i can with micron 256mb pc4200 stick(s) i've had this problem for a couple of weeks now. i have talked with TS for Gigabyte and OCZ. i just got my 2nd set of OCZ ram and still have the same problem. Gigabyte says there are...
No need to be sorry....I'm suspicious as well. I want all out honesty...even if I'm to blame. I don't like these types of situations. It sucks upsetting people...or screwing them over....but I really don't think it was my fault. That picture he emailed me is disgusting...and i fear that...
CPU pre Sale

He says of the CPU:
1. "It's discoloration, so my guess is heat damage"
2. "looks like a dried-up oil slick"
3. "There also appears...
i don't get it...since you can play every game on the market right now with a 300 dollar card...makes 0 sense. unless the need for the video card is just something that your subconscious created to explore your true sexuality.
what is a serive btw? =)
maybe after all the sh!t that's happened to you....you're supposed to have the watch in your possession. Alyssa Milano will take notice of the gorgeous time piece...and tell you to remove your pants. just a thought.
