    Crysis then and now

Pics What the hell kind of hardware would you need to run that early build? Even with those obvious cutbacks, the demo still runs like Leonard Nimoy in depleted Uranium shoes.

    BFG 6800GT OC Temps

I've got the PCI-e version here with the stock cooler and it's idling around 56-57 degrees. This seems way too hot. The PCI-e version has only one fan. I let Coolbits test overclock the card and it comes up with 428/1140. It seems stable, but temps started to rise quickly, so I dropped...

    Enermax Noisetaker vs. Seasonic

Help me pick a PSU here. It's either going to be the Seasonic Super Silencer 460W/Super Tornado 400W or the Enermax Noisetaker 485W. The upside to the Seasonic is better quality and probably quieter operation. The downside is low amps on the 12V rail around 22A - 24A. The upside to the...

    6800GT PCI-e out?

Maybe someone else caught this before me, but I found an XFX 6800GT PCI-e on Newegg. Looks like it's in stock... now all that's needed are those damned Nforce4 boards. Link Kind of 'spensive though.
