1. Too many misinformed idiots
2. Too much "um r u rite?!??!?1!! hurrr lollercoaster"
3. Not enough people who actually know technical information, this board in essence, is a forum for idiots and a couple informed people who are too nice.
In short, i'm sick of this place. I'm off to the...
I love how so many people are being irrational about this product's cooling capabilities just because of it's name. TT makes the Big Typhoon, one of the best coolers out today, along with a line of cases with great cooling (SVIKING, 2x120mm stock+integrated fan controller for only $70). I'm not...
don't buy a new graphics card, just drop the geforce 2 into the new box to save money.the new machine should be significantly faster... the old p4's (willamettes) were pretty damn slow. If you insist on spending the money, drop in a gig of ram.
i replaced the exhaust fan in my super flower, ran the leads outside of the psu and controlled it via speedfan. don't restrict yourself to the fan leads inside of the psu!
Currently I'm connected to the university LAN, but I'd like to run gaming software through a friend of mine's WLAN located nearby (DEAR MODS: THIS IS MY FRIEND'S WLAN WITH HIS CONSENT. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY UNIVERSITY). Are there programs that will allow one to route certain programs...
the super flower 14cm fan series of power supply is very reliable and ridiculously quiet for the price. i picked up a 450W for only $49 shipped (listed under link depot @ newegg.com)
Currently I'm connected to the university LAN, but I'd like to run some p2p software that is blocked through a friend of mine who lives nearby's WLAN. Is it possible to route certain programs through certain connections?
Thanks

I really doubt that your computer filters have much to do with this, but believe what you want. My filters pick up a decent amount of junk, but not enough to justify saying that my air feels cleaner.
So I picked up this Super Flower TT-450SS, it has a fan grill in the back with a single 14 (that's right folks, 14) cm fan mounted on the bottom. On turbo mode the fan pushes ~1500rpms but doesn't seem to eject much air out of my case. Have any of you single large fan psu owners noticed this as...
z-2300's are mediocre speakers, as are most small satellite+subwoofer combos. Until you upgrade till something significantly better, I wouldn't recommend dropping money on a decent soundcard. I'd suggest something cheap by EMU or M-Audio
I have this case and the stock cooling is EXCELLENT (2x120mm with integrated fan controller, filter on intake fan too). The only qualm I have is that the fans are mounted using plastic brackets.. i screwed mine to the case with vantec silicone vibration dampers and noticed a significant...
Mine are at 30-31C in the summer, mid to low 20's in the winter. I read some article saying that mtbf decreases fast after temps hit over 30C, so i try and keep them around there
