Good looking on that Zoomba site. I'm signed up with BMG, and I usually buy 5 or 6 cd's at a time when they have a 70% sale, or 55% off w/ free shipping. It's a good deal if you take advantage of their good sales. I'll definitely checkout these two sites though.
Quick question for you guys. With the rig my sig, do I need to get a PS with more watts? Right now I'm using the 350 watt PS that came with my Antec case.
We are talking about the Palermo core. I'm running 39 idle/ 46 load using the stock HSF. I would suggest buying a DFI board due to the better OC and stability.
I'm glad they finally came around. I've been using Opera for a few weeks and it's pretty good. There are some websites that don't respond well Opera, but FF takes care of that.
I had a little bit of sucess with clockgen, pushing it to 315fsb or 2.2ghz, but it wasn't Prime stable. Oh well. I've clocked it back down to 290 and it's purring along just fine. I really like the Sempron line. If you OC you can get good performance out of em. Will there be any 939 Semprons...
Overall I'm pleased with the results, though I wanted to reach 2.2ghz. Still, 604 Mhz OC isn't bad at all. I upgraded from a Sempron 2400 Socket A that I slightly OC'd to 2.0ghz w/ 1:1 memory.
Thanks for help fellas. Well since my multi is locked, might as well post the results:

Yeah I know RAM won't help with the overclock, but it will improve memory performance by allowing to run at a higher speed than the 186mhz it's running now.
Is it fixed because of the CPU or board? You're right, I am running close to 300; 290 to be exact. I might look into getting faster rated RAM to improve performance even more. What would be a good choice? DDR500?
I recently bought a 2500 Sempron 64 (stock 1.4ghz) and paired it with a Soltek K8AN2E-GR board, BIOS T1.4 Right now the proc is 24 hour Prime stable @2.044ghz with a x3 HT Freq, and mem divider running 1:11 (started at 133Mhz). Is there a way to change the multiplier on this board running an E6...
Is it possible to set the CPU multiplier in the BIOS? I just got this board up and running, but I don't see an option for it in BIOS 1.4.
I think I'm having some voltage issues. I have the CPU set at 1.525, but the board reports it at 1.568, as does CPU-Z. I'm running a Sempron 2500+ E6 rev...
Love the design, but still lacks some features I want in a MP3 player. I'll consider buying one if it's not TOO small lol. What's the life expectancy of Flash drives? I'm also suspect of the iPOD line quality. I'm on my 3rd Shuffle in less than 9 months.
I didn't have any luck here. Went to BB and tried, but they said it was only good if you purchase a laptop. Did anyone else get this response? I'll try another one later.
The coupon has to valid on sale items because all of the memory is on sale! At least online, lol. Let me get this straight, I can go pick up some RAM, take it to the Geeks, and use the coupon? Do they still charge you for installation even though you're going to "bring it back" later?
Damn, I'm in school now for a BS in IT, and MCP courses are apart of the curriculm. It'll be interesting to see how the new MCP tests are setup. I'm a bit tired of anybody being able to pass these tests. I hope some of the "higher level" MCSE courses carry over.
According to MT the Falcon GT is like a Mustang GT with four doors. Ford puts out two tight ass cars, the Falcon GT and the euro Focus ST which boasts 250+ hp, everywhere in the world BUT here. Instead we get the lame ass Focus and they even stripped us of the SVT version. WTF!
I bought a Socket A Sempron 2400 awhile ago and it's OC'd to 2.0 ghz with ease. Are there any good budget OC boards? Maybe I'll try out a S754 with another Sempron chip.
Wait, I'm confused. So is this saying if office depot has memory on sale for $39.99 ARs, CompUSA will match the AR price +5%? As in you don't need a rebate, just pay the $39.99?
