I picked mine up instore yesterday afternoon... the manager had just pulled the pick orders when I walked in... he got my order out, and said "Wow" about the price, but didn't give me any evil looks or anything, so it's all good... very painless!
I noticed another order for the same item, so...
Yep, clicked on "I want one" on the BOC, and that was the last I saw of woot. I caught the sunglasses a few times so far, but can't even click on the "I want one" on those either. They having major burnout right now!
I picked this set up at CC... have the store match the website on one of the days the website has a % off or MIR, in my case they PM'd AND matched the rebate, got it for under $500 out the door with tax.

you could just order a refurb from Newegg, mine came in a full retail box w/ all cables, and worked great... was $288 when I ordered it, no rebates, no coupons, no hassles.
You can change mine from DOA to working... I'm a freeking idiot, after playing around in BIOS, found that turning off the "AGP fast write" fixed my problem... great price and great experience with newegg refurbs, 3 out of 4 of the hardware upgrades I ordered last week were refurbs, and they all...
I got one in Friday... played with it Saturday, ended up being DOA... it has 1-2 second freezes (freezes whole system, sound repeats while it's frozen) during HL2 and the bundled Rainbox Six game... doesn't freeze during doom, I guess because doom isn't a directx game.
ordered 1 today, we'll see how it goes... have had good luck with Leadtek mobos and video cards in the past, in fact my current video card is a geforce4 ti4200 that was bought as a refurb from newegg :)
FYI, I moved my wife and myself onto Cingular using the Wirefly deal a few weeks ago (actually used a link on a banner ad, but same thing)... got two 6230's, free, no rebates, and ported our numbers over... only had two gripes...
1) they ported my number the next day after I ordered, so our...
I was one of the three people that got a 200GB WD drive at my local Office Max. That's just goofy, having a big sale item, and only having three of said item on the shelf... sheesh.
I don't understand, why is this phone so expensive? The Moto v710 trumps this phone on features, seems like to me. Is it because it's GSM, vs. the 710, which is a trimode?
This is my only problem with the article... what he's talking about is discussed at high levels at ALL retail stores... the difference is that this guy shouldn't be boasting about it in WSJ... what a sure way to shoo off good customers... I mean come on, there's more than the naughty 20% that...
Uh, I just tried doom3 with a GeForce Ti 4400 (128mb) last night... unless you LIKE playing at 640x480, you had better get something much, much faster.
You need to put outpost in the title heading, that place SUCKS. Also, as another poster noted, after shipping you're looking at close to, or equal to, retail.
I was gonna flame and say something like "well any good company will have a FAQ/guide that helps you buy their stuff!" but I went through some of the material, I I have to say, it was pretty helpful! Thanks!
It's close either way in most states... my order with Dell SB was $790 w/ tax, vs. Dell Home @ $800, so the Dell SB was slightly better...... now if there was a $35 off or similar coupon you could stack with that Dell Home deal, that might be sweet.
So, what's the chances of hanging on to the order number, and bullying Outpost in a week or two when they get more in stock? I got a response from customer service indicating that they cancelled my order strictly because they had removed the product from their system... I bet good money...
Some of these type deals are available to anyone that walks into the dealership; check chevrolet.com and "special offers" on left.
Here's a linky: Chevrolet Special Offers
Having said that, a decked out Cavalier still costs $15k AFTER the $4k cashback. Not a hot deal.
